DamonC 0 Posted March 7, 2022 Recent rains were too much even for a tightly wrapped but definitely not moisture-proof connection from an exterior Cat6 cable to the LOREX E841CAB-Z camera tucked inside a front yard bush. Both the Cat6 connector and the female camera connector had visible corrosion. Cut and replaced the Cat6 connector but upon slicing off the camera female connector, 6 wires.... what?!! Everyone with 6 wires seems to have purple, but my colors are different. Any insight on how the pinouts might go that would allow it to play nice with my Cat6 cable? Camera 6 Wires: Green Green and White Orange Orange and White Brown Blue Cat6 8 wires: Orange and White Orange Green and White Blue Blue and White Green Brown and White Brown Thanks.
