Everfocus bug?

Recommended Posts

I have 2 everfocus systems in different locations. One is the EDR410H and the EDR810H

When using motion recording, If a bug flies by the camera close enough and fast enough, I get a false trigger. Whereas the motion M does not show, but the unit will go to full screen mode for that camera, It will not come out of full screen after that until another camera detects video.

Same scenario if it's raining, Worse at night because of the IR Cameras.

Same in two locations, using 1.4.2 firmware..

Very poor response from everfocus, I asked a sofware/firmware engineer be told about this. I am pretty sure they would fix this if asked, but begging tech support to ask, just is not right.

they all will do that.

My $1k everfocus did that, and my $4k Samsung exactly the same.

The motion detection is based upon the movement of a large object

within the camera's FOV.

So a bug flying close to the camera appears as a large moving object.
