k1lla 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Man I hate these no name baluns... I ran 1000 ft cat 5 from DVR to a 420 line box and man!!! Talk about a bad picture. I am in the process of ordering an active receiver from NVT, which should solve the prob. But I would like to try a 1000 ft coax run next time I am in this situation. Any ideas anyone? vf702 0 Posted October 14, 2006 Like any other piece of equipment, you will benefit from buying a well built piece of equipment instead of the many knock offs that are out there.
