corviarbob 0 Posted Tuesday at 12:20 PM i just got this new in the box northern hybrid 16 ch nvr from ebay. i plug it in and set it up to my account and when i plug in the lan cable it goes into a reboot mode. the company sent me a link to get the latest firmware but it will not take the firmware update. and it will not stay on the network long enough to get one from the site. so is there any way to actually rest this unit back to almost nothing? i tried removing the battery and unplugging it to see if that might reset it back to nothing and that fails. the unit model isn2hvr16 or is there a better way to get the new firmware into the unit? now and then it seems to stay on for awhile and then i search my network for cameras and it seems to see them but when i add them i have to go in and input there ip address port etc and then it will not show them. it will not let me change the stream to lower and then it again starts the bootloop. this is the file they sent me that will not install the firmware version is no where near the one the company sent me. so is this junk or maybe fixable? thanks for any ideas Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
