corviarbob 0 Posted December 24, 2025 i have 8 bnc xvim cameras and i have 8 foscam ip cameras. i now have the connected to a westshine nvr and i can see them all on the monitor. that unit went thru a house fire it did not see smoke but may have see rain months later before i could get them out of the house. anyway it is starting to fail with dropouts. it never did that before i had the fire. so it is either getting old or got some damage. i'm looking for another nvr/dvr hybrid unit but when i go to ebay and ask the sellers it seems no one has a clue. so does anyone happen to know what brands now will let you see all the cams on one monitor as i'm now doing. i did get 2 new dvr units and one showed 16 bnc spaces and 4 ip spaces and the other one showed either 16 bnc spaces or 8 ip spaces. i need 16 spaces and i need all the cams to show. the one i'm using is the westshine hybrid and i have an xvim 8ch but that will show 8 bnc and 4 ip cams. i ask the sellers about this and they have no clue. so maybe some here have a hybrid that can see 8 bnc and 8 ip cams on the same monitor
clintonk 0 Posted 12 hours ago you might have to change the resolution of your cameras. Try lowering the resolution on all of them at once. They should all use less resources and your hardware will be able to process it faster. That is what I had to do to get mine to show but my NVRs only does ten cameras. (I can't believe no one responded to this sooner)
