rory 0 Posted August 23, 2007 high quality, but back to the old timelapse speeds ..
jisaac 0 Posted August 23, 2007 seems like it plays back in slow motion.
markhogan 0 Posted August 24, 2007 In my PC the speed is fine.. it's around 8 images per second.. It's not too bad.. expecially for the bandwith usage! The image quality is one of the best I've ever seen.
photys 0 Posted August 24, 2007 I put the slow playback down to my processor. WMP using 100% CPU.
rory 0 Posted August 24, 2007 yep 100% CPU usage .. which is strange since i can view 64 cameras from remote sites and only get this .. so maybe its just a WMP issue. http://www.bahamassecurity.com/tmp/64wayEGWithProcess.jpg (shows performance, CPU usage approx 79% and memory size at 617K, this is on a 2.0Ghz AMD w/ 512DDR Ram)
jisaac 0 Posted August 24, 2007 http://arksurveillance.com/hostvids/gascash.avi play this one back and tell me if this one plays back in slow mo like the other one does
photys 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Gascash has always worked fine on mine. Similar specs to Rory.
rory 0 Posted August 24, 2007 it plays slow but not timelapse as I get every frame .. also very good quality. Still 100% CPU. ill try both of them in another AVI player instead of WMP when i get back in about 1 hour.
rory 0 Posted August 24, 2007 No luck on the speed. but it still flows good. What camera is that and what software was used? Ok I converted it to WMV and it plays normal now, must be the 100% CPU thing, or a codec conflict on my PC. Here is the converted WMV file, ofcourse lower quality but still good. 720x480 though as MM only allows that resolution, also 3.1MB instead of 18MB. Runs around 40% CPU usage on my PC now. http://www.bahamassecurity.com/video/MovieHIGHRES.wmv PS. where is that camera mounted?
jisaac 0 Posted August 25, 2007 thats strange because the gascash play fine for me and the original videos play in slow mo
photys 0 Posted August 25, 2007 I belive they won an award for that codec too
jisaac 0 Posted August 25, 2007 the camera is arcont 3130 and milestone software
rory 0 Posted August 25, 2007 nice camera .. will have to try it one day when I get wealthier Where is it mounted though?
jisaac 0 Posted August 25, 2007 if i am not mistaken i believe that was mounted on a light pole or a pole that supports the canopy of that covers the gas pumps
