best way to upload remotly

I have an 8 CH GV1240. I want to upload to a remote server 2 of the channels while still recording them to the same box with the others .

the GV box is on a cable lan so bandwidth is an issue.

 

the way I was thinking on doing it is to get a GV loop card and attach these 2 channels to an Axis video server connected to the lan.

 

couple Q's:

1. can I do that directly from GV without spending the $$ on the video server?

2. how would you do it?
