I have a Geovision GV900 card that the dealer said that I could upgrade for a fee. But I would have to be without a security system for 3 weeks. I find it odd that a security company would want you to do without your system for such a long period of time. The filp side is that I do not want to be stuck with a obsolete card. What is everyone else doing?

I am new in this type of business but I am having a hard time figuring out what is the difference between a good camera and a bad camera. The prices vary so great. You have stuff made in the US and Canada that costs 5x more than overseas. I am trying to find that fine line between cost and quality. Can anyone educate me? calvis

I always thought domes look cheesy mounted on the side of the house, but I suppose having the right dome would make a difference. I will look into domes. Thanks

I have a customer that wants a camera in which the cables mount underneath mounting bracket so that the cables are not exposed. This is a residential job so the customer is concerned about looks. Can anyone recommend a good quality camera that achieves this? Thanks, Calvis
