  1. Hi. You will need to get the IP address .....you will find it in the reolink software you can still access the camera with. Then under camera settings .....enter video channel number then cameras IP address then protocol which will be ONVIF then in port enter 554. Then user name and password that is currently on the camera.

    Best Home CCTV System

Both hik and dahua are far from being number one. Shares have gone less than half the value. Hikvision is top for having equipment replaced. Dahua is closing country offices. Starlight cameras are upto 8mp now flir have release the licence anyone can produce them
  3. Hi. Try Before you try this code switch your unit off for 20mins first 917008

    Best Home CCTV System

Hi. Your budget is a bit low. You will get gray market hikvision for that .......but that is just wasting your budget. Hikvision NVRs are not reliable and are old in tech.
  5. Hi. With doing your own fault finding ...... Swapping a working camera to one that is not ........ Rules out any NVR problem. It looks network related. What is your cable run to Poe and cable run to main switch length. What happends when you remove main switch and go direct to router.

See all you want to do is *** your like a woman. Did you try the setting a surgested or is it too easy for you. Trust me I get no payment from lorex I don’t need it. But since you can’t answer simple questions to be able to teach you how to work your system Looks like your only option now is to take lorex to court (your words) Good luck with that when there defence will be your own posted thread..... you don’t listen I bet your one of these people who has lots of lawsuits a year over the most stupid things just to make money.

Nothing you type is simple..... It took you 4 posts before anyone could work out its a motion alert problem you have. And there is nothing about that in your first post. Is this the 2k or 4K unit ? Green and yellow is 24hr record with motion. Set alarm for area detection which is red. Well just with the info you have provided there is no point you contesting it because your settings are wrong. I think you reading the manual again would be better. Would be much better than you losing a court case and a lot of money. I would switch off motion detect (yellow) and go to each camera setting and set motion up as alarm...... You must set detection on each camera to 10 or above to work and in playback you will have green for 24 and red for each camera alert. You have not mentioned anything about target range with any of your cameras. Distance to target. Have you loaded smart PSS to alter settings ?

Your problem is easy sorted out ...... But you can't answer simple questions ... You log on to complain but not sort your problems

There are a lot of forums and only you seem to have the problem. But now you have explained a bit more about your problem people can start to work it out. Which NVR are you using ? Who installed the hard drive What is your pre and post set at. On your schedule what alerts have you set. On your playback screen what colours show in time line.

    bad image no image

Hi. Your post is a bit confusing. You say connected by Siamese cable ...... Then say you changed Baluns. Baluns are not used with coax. 2nd .......power supply 12v 1.5ma ....... That is too small for your distance ... Get yourself a 12v 5amp and see if that works

Hi. Hight limitations used to be a problem with old D1 res cameras. And got a little better with 1080p. Hight of the camera took away its viewing distance. This is not the case now with 4K as you have more detail at distance. I.E. Camera 8ft high and a person under it you only get top of head shot with old D1 you would not even get a face shot if person was 20ft from camera....... But with 4K a persons face can be detected over 40ft away ...... Mask area sends digital signal to recorder .....it would show up as sensor trigger in playback. Lorex manuals don't explain much ......so you are better looking as the dahua specs as your camera is 100% dahua

Hi. Paul. Your system is a HD tvi system. Which is good for your application as there is no lag. We have done this many time in social clubs. Don't buy anything with IR What works best are box cameras with 30mm lens You will get a good clear image with this http://qedgroup.co.uk/shop/truvision-hd-tvi-box-camera-1080p-c-cs-wdr-12vdc-24vac.html

Qvis Eye-e36-v2g - accessing camera OSD.

Qvis have a build factory in China they have had it a view years. The good thing about qvis is there p2p is uk based on there own servers. One thing for the viper is it will not go out of date quick. And will work with your existing cameras and the latest 4K Maxxone I can't work out who makes it .... But says its U.K. Based. Looking at its remote app was enough to see it has problems and does not work with the Apple updates

Qvis Eye-e36-v2g - accessing camera OSD.

Hi. I would stick with qvis. You need to look at viper all in one ...... 4K analog and also 4K IP all on the same unit. Makes hikvision and maxxone look like toys and cheaper

    Memory card in CCTV

Hi. SD cards in cameras will now fail data protection. Ok for the domestic market but not for public space / high end/ or commercial systems
  17. From that quote....... I take it your not involved in CCTV? It is not that simple. Even now there is no software or standalone that will run every IP camera. Also as of October every CCTV recorder has to comply with. GDPR From what I can see from your website whatsapp / Facebook is going to handle some of your customers data. That is going to be your first problem ......and rules out commercial and high security locations. And again no answer to what remote software or apps do you have. If your answer is none. Your software is going back to old tech which the DIYer would not use.
  18. I don't know what other systems you have been looking at but you are so wrong. I am not having a go at your software ...... But I have seen so many make mistakes that it never gets anywhere Plus you have to remember over 80% of CCTV tech is already copyright protected. Your web page talks about IP cameras ..... Is your software ONVIF? And again what remote software do you have .......your asking a lot of money and not giving basic info

    In-bar sports on CCTV

Hi. Paul. Best option is with a box camera with a 50mm lens. And it works very well. What cameras do you have now .....HD BNC or IP
  20. Hi. That is a big budget for cameras that is not needed. The cameras used at the moment are a bad choice to start with. How are you storing the footage from those cameras. For well under your budget I would use starlight 5mp IP camera system. This allows your cameras to be colour day and night. And with your budget you can also use a mini IP PTZ camera for the gate location. (Would pick a face at 100m) U.K. Manufacture uk support uk warranty and uk p2p
  21. Hi. You don’t need internet for ip systems Can I ask why you need 32 4k camera system. What type of premises are you protecting. 32 4k is going to need a lot of storage space a week. You will be better designing a system to manage your storage space. Look at using 3 or 4mp cameras in small locations and different lens in other areas. This will also help in reducing your data load on your switches
  22. Did he get a friend to join the forum Stupid comment .......so face detection only works on this software...... that is a stupid claim since it’s not been used yet. No you don’t. You can pick plates up with a good quality camera. £360-$420. Is what op said is the cost for 8 cameras a year. So how does your option work. Do customers call you each day and say I’m only using 4 of my 8 cameras today can I have some money back. But since you know a lot about the company can you answer the question the op has not answered. What apps are available for this software on IOS or android Not with a cost of £360-$420 a year cost. And can I just point something out for a home owner. Most homes will not go out and buy a pc just dedicated to cctv so that’s another expensive cost. £360-$420 will buy a homeowner a good brand name nvr with no ongoing costs

Qvis Eye-e36-v2g - accessing camera OSD.

Hi. Going hikvision recorder will be a mistake. Don't waste your money. Google hikvision ban... 3 countries up to now.. Letting your data go to China is not a good thing This is a UTC tool they range from £5 upwards. What part of uk are you in ?

Qvis Eye-e36-v2g - accessing camera OSD.

Hi. You will need a UTC tool to enter the menu. But there is nothing there which can make your camera better quality. What type of monitor are you using ? For the hik you need a wide screen monitor. You would be better off just changing cameras to tvi HD which is what is best for that recorder...... Around £30 each.
  25. Yes I know they are .....but if you need to save and name a snapshot of your staff of workers or family it’s only do what’s entered. Avermedia has had that free on there systems for 15 years. B2c is not a cheap product to pass on to customers I guess this will be snap shot only again because of cost. What about video? You could call the car outdated. It’s been around for over 100 years Email is free. So your going b2c. Does this mean for $360 you have no platform apps ? People like to buy and use cctv. Years ago it was used for security. There is nothing in your software that is not already free in a nvr and there is no coin slot on a nvr to use it
