tomcctv replied to neurosurveillance's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
That’s the problem ..... $360 a year licence fee. That would buy a nvr with face detect licence plate detect. Tripwire Why would you want WhatsApp on a system. That takes your software away from the commercial market -

Are these $35 Motion Tracking Cameras any good?
tomcctv replied to Astronomy's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. It's only $20 on aliexpress $35 ........ That is just for the camera . Have you looked at the running cost each and every year for the camera. It then becomes expensive crap. . Look for a brand name IP camera with SD card storage ...... You control it No stupid monthly costs. And never send your data to China -
Ok. Your recorder is a dahua .....rebadged by IC. Does your cellphone app work
-
All we need is the current time and date which your dvr is showing now
-
Well I can see why you have problems with customer service and tech support.... You have taken the time to register and time to type your thread. Instead of ***ing about your problem you would of been much better to of just asked the forum for your password. Ic realtime will not reply your a end user. And that is there policy. Keep life simple . All you need to do is post your time and date on your recorder

Lorex is 100% owned by dahua. Alarm inputs are simple .... dry open or closed. Lorex can’t answer your question as you have not stated voltage or how the alarm is to send the alert ... voltage or none voltage contact

which CCTV allows smart alarm triggering
tomcctv replied to homer102's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
By now, every DVR could serve your needs. Buy the cheapest one on the market. Seemingly you are new to this field, go for coaxial side i/o network kind of things, for easy maintenance. Straight forwardly simple, coaxial. Coax HD also go out of date in less than a year. Go ip much easier to install and less components -
which CCTV allows smart alarm triggering
tomcctv replied to homer102's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
With you looking at the OYNX .....are you based in the uk? I would look at there viper range .... Makes hikvision look like a toy. IP vs analog ....... Analog is old and not really supported anymore. But analog replacement is HD analog . Also called in its for mates as CVI or TVI or AHD Both IP and HD analog range from 1mp upto 5mp for HD analog or IP 1mp upwards of 39mp. I would still say going IP is the better option -
Clearview IP73a defaults
tomcctv replied to OSHAGALARM's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Clear view are just drop shippers for IC Realtime. So you have dahua equipment. The camera in question needs to be taken apart to get to the reset pins. You still need to power up the camera while apart. But once apart you need to remove the IR sensor plate and at the top you will see two small brass holes. You need to short them out for 5 seconds to reset camera back to factory. -
Updating DS-7732 NI-SP from .264 to .265???
tomcctv replied to 300winmag's topic in Digital Video Recorders
It would not be just a codec on a pc either you need hardware. But like a pc you can have h265 data but it is converted back to H264 ..... and uses a lot of cpu. If you recorder is not h265 then your stuck with h264 -
Updating DS-7732 NI-SP from .264 to .265???
tomcctv replied to 300winmag's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Depending on your cameras they will be h264/265. So will work on a h264 only NVR but only at h264. And that is auto setup. As far as software for your NVR to h265 ..... No ..... Components are missing from your NVR from doing that. -
Yes I seen that in your first post. I still need you to do some tests
-
Hi. Do you only have 3 cameras ? It also looks like a image output problem as the 4th camera not showing also shows the problem on a blank screen. Can you switch off your NVR and disconnect the hard drive .....then see how image is without.
