Sunnykim ...... very wrong info again from you ..... you have been posting for years .... but you still don’t get it. Why 200m Why not much knowledge ??? -

tomcctv replied to ashanta's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. You will need to give more details on your service provider. There are so many interpretations of wifi / hotspot/ and Wisp. Some are shared so can do forwarding. -
Hi. You will need a app for your tablet. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hikvision.hikconnect

IP Camera to NVR and LCD Monitor
tomcctv replied to Spotly's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Hi. With some cameras you can ...... Some cameras are both IP and composit out . You would use composite direct to monitor. But your lorex is only IP. So you have two options .... Run a cable from your NVR back to your front door and display all cameras on your monitor. Or the easy way ......Best Buy $40 10inch tablet and link that wifi to your NVR and only view the door camera .....and you would also get audio that way. Also you can carry tablet around with you in home or garden and let it alert you to front door -
Do you know the meaning of none official dealer..... Gray market / copy / counterfeit. I buy direct from dahua .... Well used too. I stopped in February for spyware in there products. But again enjoy buying your cheap junk........ You have no clue. G you can also use lorex service centre..... And there is two of them in France..........but I will worn you if you send a gray product to dahua they can hold and distroy it.
-
Dahua will not look or repair China gray market systems THEY DID NOT MAKE IT. Yours came with China copy software .....no update or firmware from dahua will work on them.
-
That you can have serviced by dahua Europe. If you choose to ignore dahua buying guide...... That's up to you. Let me point out a fact ..... In your own words.... Which is 100% the right software .....PAL So you bought a gray market system .......that you can't change the language on........all genuine dahua Europe PAL systems come with full euro language So you wasted your money once and you want to do it again. Like I said good luck
-
Hi. The hi view .....is hikvision yet the seller is directing buys to a 3rd party app for some reason ..... Could be a copy. The hi view is a coax HD system ........so also requires power to cameras Out of both of your chose. I would go with your last .......much easier to install as it is plug and play And images will be better..........just remember you also need a hard drive Best one for your budget https://www.amazon.co.uk/SANNCE-Camera-Outdoor-Weatherproof-Ethernet/dp/B00KIBIM4C/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0&tag=cf01c-21

You can only warn people so many times on buying China copy of dahua from China. And aliexpress and eBay .......forum is full of people doing this mistake. You will not save €100 buying copy You do have a dauha service centre in Europe Have a read what dahua has put out in a news letter. Good luck.
-
There are no aurtherised dahua dealers on eBay or aliexpress Why do you think there cheaper. Why are you not answering the question If you upgraded to the ENG software then that was the right upgrade as eng is PAL Are you in Europe? Back to aliexpress......both hik or dahua allow sales from that platform .......so no they are not aurtherised...... Anyone can put aurtherised in there sales pitch .......you only find out later it was crap. Your Belgium aurtherised dealer is also suspect. €50 gets your system fully serviced by dahua .......did he offer you that ?

If you the link wire you will get an image
-
Hi. That means your camera has no power You will have yellow with a braid around it and a red Yellow goes to + side of BNC The braid goes to - side of BNC and also your neutral Just as a quick test run a wire from power black and touch the BNC you should get a image The purple wire is to reverse the image .......used if using camera as a reversing camera on a car.
-
Hi. First I would not buy from aliexpress you will just waste your money and you could end up with a copy ....and you will not get any support from dahua. Are you based in Belgium...... Where you are located is important to PAL or NTCS If your in Europe then the eng software is the right one PAL is Europe NTCS is the Americas
-
Hi. It depends on your location.
-
Hi. I can just make out in your picture that you have power going from power supply to your monitor. I see you have 3 red going to connector but I can only see two black. You don't have a neutral from the camera.

Hikvision skipping frames when playing back recordings
tomcctv replied to 2410Davie's topic in General Digital Discussion
I tried it even with recording turned off on all cameras and it does exactly the same, i upgraded thinking this Hikvision would be better than my old cheap Anran system but i have to say its the same in terms of playback so I thought it might of been something else like a setting could of adjusted? Not a fan of hikvision recorders. Hikvision are always at there limit ....... Try and knock down your resolution on the cameras that you need to playback quick and see how it goes. Even using hik vms to playback is slow ....other brands do it much better with analytics -
Hikvision skipping frames when playing back recordings
tomcctv replied to 2410Davie's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi I am just playing back 1 camera at a time, if i export the video and play it back on my PC its fine but the issue is something happened when I was away last week over the space of 4 days so I need to be able to watch through the footage but speed it up so skipping frames isn't good as it will miss something. It's not missing frames it just can't process and keep recording at the same time -
Hikvision DVR 7208HGHI-SH:Unable to reset the Admin Password
tomcctv replied to rajeev1972's topic in Digital Video Recorders
qqeqRdezy The last letter is missing .......it's a capital letter so you can go through the alphabet yourself to find out which letter. The whole password changes after today. I thought I would let you work for it since you can't even ask please in your post -
Hikvision skipping frames when playing back recordings
tomcctv replied to 2410Davie's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. That depends on how many cameras you play back at a time. Your NVR is not a AV system so does not have processing power. You could switch recording off while you playback. But you might forget to switch it back on -
What cable to use when installing CCTV for Elevators?
tomcctv replied to missmimi's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Coax for a elevator I know this tread is 8 years old but even 8 years ago coax was a no no 2018 it would be better to just WiFi network ..... can have camera fitted and working in 20 minutes. But I can see why you need to spam ......... I see your website is new but not easy to get around .....you need your website to work for you ........yours is that busy and all over the place that people will just move on to another....... keeping things simple is always the best. Half of your does not work and products is missing when click on your link. Get that sorted out and you won’t need to spam -
Hi. You will find a red and black power inside your existing cable. But ......if this is old you might have another problem. How are the cameras powered now ?
-
Hi. Why did you buy something that is older than your previous recorder. There is no update firmware for something that old. When your remote stops working are you talking local or away from recorder. Also do you have a DDNS

Surveillance system using ip cameras
tomcctv replied to pastre's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
+1 Keep it simple and cost effective. Your in range for cat5 cable and IP cameras with NVR No need for extra expense of repeaters or wifi. -
Your website lists 5 reasons to buy cctv which are crap .... but can you add a 6th reason . No-6 ......don’t buy expensive equipment from http://www.reliablechimes.com $900 for a analog hd 4 camera system ..... with no monitor no power supple and not fitted. Congratulations $900 makes you the most expensive 4 way analog hd seller on the internet I can see why you need to spam .... it’s your stupid prices Your 4 way atom dvr. D1 is over $650 ...... your cameras to go with it ..... 520tvl dome ..... your price $225 each. So. Dvr ............$650 4 cameras....$1000 Your asking $1.650 for a D1 recorder and 4 520tvl cameras No monitor no cable no power supply....... that is robbery of the month
