Well if your not looking for remote viewing or alerts. Use your old pc but just in cost alone on adding hd space for the partition Also your card has no hologram..... which was standard 12 years ago so buyers knew if bought a China copy or genuine geo. You have had 3 dvrs ...... well that depends on what make .... there has been a lot of rubbish over the years And also depends on there install ... 3 gone bad could also be bad location .... not enough cooling / something bad with power feed / or a bad camera Buy a new dvr with support and warranty ....... it will be cheaper than messing about with an old D1 low FPS pci card

I would give up on the card . With only using 4 cameras your best option is a dvr. You will have better reliability..... You don't need to keep your PC on .........and with a dvr you can change your existing cameras later as most DVRs now with take analog and halogen HD.

Hi. We have been throwing these cards away for past 3 years. Why waste your time on 12 year old analog ......you have already found out it is no longer supported.
  4. Hmm, interesting. There's indeed a camera in that location. But why would it be spraying IR toward this camera. It should be pointing more than 90 degrees in a different direction. Hi. It's not a fixed camera ........PTZ move with IR and at one point it is directed towards your camera. Just set your camera to day time only
  5. Hi. Your camera is working fine. However if you look centre and a little to the right in your video you will see that on the far unit they have a PTZ with it which is doing a tour and one of its tour presets it is blinding your camera with IR from it. Try setting your camera to day mode only
  6. Does not pay to buy cheap ptz cameras. Qvis is much better
  7. Another stupid spammer........ how do you expect anyone to send you money. Domain registered in the USA Company phone in India Company address in Melbourne Australia And you don’t even sell cat5 on your website

    Avtech H.264 network issue

    Upgrading or replacing fibre/coax system

Hi. Going from coax to cat cable will have nothing to do with bandwidth as the cables should be home run.... no need for IT guys. What are the distances of your cables ? Coax to eithernet is not cheap plus you need one at both ends then you have the cost of new ip camera. 2x coax converts plus say a 4mp ip camera ...... is expensive 1 HD 4mp camera connected to existing coax...... is only cost of camera Using existing cables is a good option but only if your going to use it as it is. If you want to go full ip system again it will save you $100s in coax converters if you just run 16 new cat cable runs. That way you also save a lot of money and you have complete new start to finish What is your budget ?

    Upgrading or replacing fibre/coax system

Hi. You might be spending lots of money you don’t need to spend. HD systems will run on your existing cabling just by changing recorder and cameras and going upto 4mp. What sort of business are your protecting ... work space or public space. I would also look at lorex / dahua ...(Canada approved) Or high value business go with avigilon. Canadian made. Going avigilon start to finish you will have no 3rd party costs

  16. Hi jeromephone check your pm
  17. Used to use tvt 10 years ago ..... basic system they did not move with technology so we moved on to other companies that did move with technology. 10 years on and TVT dare I say it ,,,,,, much better than any hikvision. Brand new software and complete new apps Super play for Android and Apple ...... is fast and have extras on like face detect and vehicle detect as standard NVMS1000 is for Windows or Apple pc and gives you full control of recorder it also takes 3rd party cameras direct to NVMS. It’s a product to be added to anyone’s list when looking for a new system
  18. viewtopic.php?f=54&t=56859 You still go a reply
  19. Hi. Lorex is made by them no 3rd party involvement I would say ..... You don't need motorized lens just keep all cameras 4K standard. All your equipment will be dahua

    Floureon-Samsung question.

Hi. Yes you have been .. But ...... It's the price difference.... Samsung is a lot more expensive but does not mean it's better. Samsung has a short life span ...... They change there remote software every two years which prevents you from using there latest apps Floureon may be a lot cheaper but at lest you can upgrade when they change software. As far as proformance....... You will not see any differance in image quality. It is also easier to use .......some floureon will also run on the dahua apps. Samsung has nothing to do with floureon so your installer is talking crap there. Look up the price of a Samsung and a floureon and get him to refund the differance.
