Panasonic Ip cameras Trouble web page
tomcctv replied to jeff658's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. If your system is managed by IT department then they are the only people who can help. You need to know the IP and ports ...... IT might have ports available for you -
your last 4 useless spam posts ...... Says your CCTV and IT. Give it up if this is best you can do. Even when op did a good job on sorting out his own problem ..... YOU still come out with junk...... Nothing to do with his problem

Hi. Not what you want to hear but buying a secondhand Foscam was your first mistake .......you can buy them new for $40 Foscam tech support would not setup your static IP. Because they can't only your internet provider can do that for you. It looks like whoever it was who set up your camera just did some port forwarding to get it to work ..... And because you don't have a static IP your external IP has changed which will no longer allow you access. External IP addresses can last for a few hours or days or even weeks but they will change. ..... A static IP from your internet provider will always allow you access as your external will never change. On your app that tech setup for you you should see the IP address in app settings ....... You need to change that to your current IP address (click on link below and it will show your IP) https://www.whatismyip.com Getting your camera to work in your motor home is going to be harder in you don't know about networking. Your motor home will need Internet and a router. (Mobile /cell Internet) And also take into account cell network will cost you more than your camera each few days to watch your dog...... (2 costs mobile internet data for motor home and data costs for your cell)

Power adapters will work your right there called EOP but they don't power camera ....... If it's working you have power to your camera via power supply........which is not POE

connect ptz controller to dvr by rj45 qnd 2 ptz
tomcctv replied to jacknr's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Hi. Your rj45 on the controller would have gone with to a dvr with rj45. Ptz control or to a breakout box. The breakout box would of given two output options But if you want to go rj45 to dvr rs485 Make a new lead up ..... on the rj45 only use two wires one goes to pin 3 and one goes to pin 5 3 will go into dvr + 5 will go into dvr - -

Hi. EOP units are much better than boosters and can also give better security . Try netgear https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/powerline/PL1200.aspx -

Hi. Are you looking for another cheap import ?? What is your budget -
I want a camera that doesn't require Wi-fi
tomcctv replied to Centredome's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. For the reason you need CCTV I would go for wired cameras and a dvr. Going SD card you will be up and down ladder each day and then having to backup the SD card to put it back. With a dvr and two cameras you could get a full month of play back and be able to connect the dvr direct to your tv.... No need for computer or any network. And you can play back anytime you like without stopping recordings. This system from DAHUA is a good starting price. As well as motion detect (which would make you tv bleep if needed) Also has spot detection. Which is very good. Say you notice your bin outside has moved ..... You go to playback.... Click spot and you put a spot on your bin with the mouse on the dvr..... Press play and it shows you the time and who moved your bin with video. https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-dvr-security-system/2-camera-hd-home-security-system-with-long-range-night-vision/MPX42W-1-p -
sannce N48PT nvr poe camera reset p address
tomcctv replied to crow's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Are all cameras the same manufacture ?? But first thing you need to do is reset all cameras that are not working Looking at your picture two cameras will have a conflict as they have the same IP address. So that needs changing before you can connect. Each none working camera needs to be plugged into your router then go into that camera settings and reset. You are best removing 1 camera at a time from the NVR to plug into your router as NVR is showing the camera IP. IE .... Remove cam 7 and to loging once connected to router via PC the IP address would be 192.168.2.99 -

help choosing outdoor ptz camera

Never number 1 in world Worst apps ever for bot Apple and google -
No don’t take your camera apart Infront of lens means it’s on the dome or glass. Web can’t be inside or you would not get a image of it. Like you said you have cleaned it and it’s fine but then it’s back Only takes A few mins for a web to appear..... next time play it back

Hi. Sorry CMS / NVMS. Is software for PC or Mac to also control NVR local or away. As far as apps we use super CMS for iPhone and pad and also superlive plus. We're are you located and I'll check for distributor. http://qvisglobal.com/downloads/dl/file/id/343/product/5065/viper_nvr_4_8_channel_specification.pdf http://qvisglobal.com/downloads/dl/file/id/364/product/5065/viper_nvr_manual.pdf

Hi Rhys. I would look at the 8 way viper from qvis . Which goes upto 5mp on each channel. Good mobile apps and very good cms software .... a lot cheaper and much better than what you have listed. Yes you can use power adapters to your garage
-
Hi. First I would get your money back for your NVR I'll never understand why sellers sell systems that are not compatable. 2mp NVR with 4mp cameras is a waste of resolution And looking at online prices £380 for a NVR that is low res . Is this for home use or business?
-
Hi. Neil. The web will be infront of the lens and it's the cameras IR that is making it visible .....you will not see it in day mode. Cleaning the camera helps but only for a day or so. Spider spray usually stops it........all over camera NOT the lens For a replacement look for a turret 4 in 1 camera it covers all camera formats
