Need help regarding cctv on my car
tomcctv replied to OMGitsDMC's topic in General Digital Discussion
DPA is a mine field ...... I would keep it simple No signs keeps your system private Put signs up and you system becomes public space. If something happends not related to you with having signs up they can ask for your dvr footage. Only because you have told public cctv is available via placing signs in public......the police can even take your recorder away over something not related to you. No sign ....... police can’t take and public can ask you for footage It’s up to you if your cctv footage helps others Keep your system private no signs -

what do you mean by dont put up and signs? In the uk if you put signs up then your cameras become public space cameras which means you have to register them No signs and there domestic cameras no laws ...... Unless over looking into private space of someone else -

Hi. Yes you are allowed ...... But don't put up and signs -
Hi gv1120 is over 12 years old ... low frame rate and low resolution It is not really fit for security these days ... so what is the point in supporting it any more. It’s like beta max vs vhs. VHS won and then became obsolete because of digital. Unfortunately you fitted these 4 years ago when they were just going out of date. Moving on from pci cards to dvrs is something your customers would want. Old pc running costs Poor cif or D1 recordings are pointless now 7 FPS ...... we are upto 20 -30 FPS It’s time to give your customers better and cheaper to run systems.

Same way as you got shut of message 4 attempts just to find out what recorder Right click screen ...... ptz control ..... on ptz box click advanced then click on second top right icon ... enter ptz menu

Need pin diagram for Lorex network camera
tomcctv replied to abner's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Your solution is on first page of forum. But you need to change all your Rj 45 to the network standard which is b. -
Yes sorry I did mean the bios date .........make your system think it's 2016
-
I'm not trashing you ......read your posts Google don't have a clue about CCTV ....... USB from your PC link will not give you HDMI 1080p. If that was the case why do we need graphics cards You came on to the forum so expect to get the right reply..... You might not like the reply but that's your problem. As far as $50 licence ...... It sounds pointless to install 4 dahua cameras that has better software for free ...... And you loose all dahua benifits
-
If you think you can get 1080p from USB to HDMI then your in dream world. Just like your posts Now it's 250ft Your only talking 4 IP cameras your turning a basic system into a headache and also having to buy a licence You don't even have a clue your IP cameras come with free software
-
Hi. Problem could be windows update but with all going at the same time it sounds like a licence has ran out It happend also in 2010 with some geo before they sent out a update patch. To check if a licence has expired a simple test is to setup one of your systems .... but set time and date on your PC to 2016 and see how it runs. Avermedia also had the same problem in 2014 systems licence ran out for internet. Only because users did not keep firmware upto date

Hi. Everything comes to a end Gv1120 cards are no longer supported .... it’s going to be like keeping an old classic car on the road ... every time you use it you will need to work on it. Think it’s time you moved away from low resolution pci cards PCI cards are a thing of the past
-
Yes you said this in your first post PSS V4.06 software Is something you load onto pc. But still need to know if your also on recorder
-
Rs485 is data What happends to camera when you first power up and what does it display on screen
-
Well good luck on your install ... I think your here for a wind up USB to hdmi .... and you think your going to get good resolution . 300ft is max you can run a ip camera. You need to add switches Running cat 6 to every TV .... why? How will you get image onto your TVs Blu iris the best ....... software that goes with dahua cameras is better a lot better
-
Bad choice of install. Bad idea vga to hdmi So what did you us every 250ft cable connector or Poe switch. Also wrong about limited to cameras on a nvr ..... but if your tech guy thinks it’s better to pay to use blue iris over the dahua software which is free and gives better apps. But I would say do more homework because at the moment your just wasting money

While on playback press stip on bottom left .... Then tick all and press play again -
Hi. Might of been better if you started your own post Why do you want to clip more than an hour ??? That is not what clip is for. Anything over half hour you should be doing a full time backup
-
Hi. Are you also connected to a recorder ? Is your camera analog HD or IP
-
Hi. It depends on your dvr ..... If you are only analog then you are not going to see much benifit just replacing with analog cameras
-
Hi. 1250ft each run ? You will meet to do something every 300ft. USB to HDMI ..... Best of with a HDMI graphics card Why go PC and blue iris .... Which has a cost. Would be better with a dahua NVR Are you using IP PTZ cameras ? What is joystick for
