Connect the camera again to the router and use internet explorer to connect to the camera Enter 192.168.1.80 into browser....... Screen will pop up asking for user name and password .......admin and admin Under camera configuration change the IP address to 169.254.212.115 and click save then plug it into your NVR. You will have to do this with all amb cameras but use a different number at end of IP address 169.254.212.115 ........ For first camera 169.254.212.116 .........for second camera 169.254.212.113...........for third camera And see if detected then when attached to your NVR. The viper can take upto 5 mins to connect to camera so give it time to set

No I can view the camera on the nVR by plugging the Ethernet frombthe camera into the router and a PSU into the cameras power but if I plug the camera directly into the router it's not detected but the camera,s up is set as 192.168.1.80 but the nvrs 5mp camera is a totally different IP like 191.120.2.191 or something like that ? A or B Video output on that dvr according to manual A is full live view of all cameras 1-4-8-16 B is spot output .... output is picked by user ... in your case only 4 cameras have been selected 1 can view will only show first cam .... 4 camera few will show all 4 cameras selected for spot .... 8 camera view will show your 4 spot cameras plus 4 blank and the same with 16 it will show the 4 selected as spot plus. 12 blank. You need to go into monitor output settings and pic live view and disable and not use spot view

Sounds like only 1 user is added to the account so when it's being used then no one else can log on. Why are you getting annoyed. .... In a lot of states what you are doing would not be allowed. Not only are you watching your child you are also watching others. A daycare giving out remote viewing to everyone is a bad thing and especially control of there CCTV. Hi. Welcome to the world of hikvision DVRs DS 7200 models are giving everyone problems . Remove one camera from the back and see if you have the same problem. If so then your only option is to return it. What has happend to the days when you buy a dvr/ NVR and cameras fit them and have years of trouble free problems Hikvision comes with problems from day 1

Hi. You will of had no problem if connected the wrong way ... Very small voltage. With 1 camera address should be set as 1 on ..... 2 to 7 off ... 8 on .... 9 on. You might also want to check your dvr setting ..... Some DVRs will only let you use a PTZ on chan 1 or first 4 channels Also under PTZ setup pic generic instead of bosh.

Hi. First 6tb x 3 might not be comparable with the recorder. You might also in one of your existing hard drive usually the first one .... part of the operating system without that it will not start. Re install old hard drives in the order they came out or in stall one at a time till unit starts. One drive will have a partion which holds some operation

depend in type of inverter and how the change over is Easy way is to fit a uninterrupted power supply between inverter and dvr just to stop dvr from loosing power The cheap way would be remove mains power from dvr then connect dvr direct to battery

Hi. A much simpler way is to use 1 cat5 cable ....that means only a 5mm hole to run two cameras and power. The cables that come with the B&Q systems are bad quality Cat5 and baluns is all you need

Hi. Stan That app is the old dahua lite ... and been removed and replaced on both App Store and play store. Bad news is your dvr is too old to work with the new ones. Wright down all the settings you have on your app ... then delete it. Which mobile platform are you using and I will pm you a working app
