Hi. Sounds like you have put the monitor display out of range resolution. To fix you will need to connect to a good HD monitor ... then you can go back into setting and change output resolution back
-
It will all go to hell .......2006 will have no support for Internet. The security alone on your hub 5 will give problems (which your having) Your recorders are past there life. Who would want a CIF recorder these days
-
Are we talking about the same recorder the DM Sprite 2 is over 12 years old. One option is your recorder collects its static local IP from router DMZ give the path through your router past firewall What happends when you do it manual
-
Hi. DMZ is like auto LAN IP setup to your router ..... A work around firewall Once connection has been made with your recorders local IP then DMZ can be switched off. If your connection from recorder to router has a problem or a connection loss for some reason when connection is back it will look at giving another local IP because DMZ is still enabled Or have a go at giving your recorder its own IP address and do your own port forwarding in router yourself without using DMZ and see if you have the same problem If so I would start to look at your cat connections
-
Hi. DMZ should only be switched till ip is picked then you deactivate it. Sounds like you have left it open

Change or router, can no longer view camera outside network
tomcctv replied to stolt's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. You have a static IP address.... So you don't need to use HIDDNS. OR HIK- connect.... Having a static is the same except it's yours and not a 3rd party. DONT use your IP address on a hik server..... If you already have done then ask plusnet to change your static IP -
Looking to build or buy complete system, New to surveillence
tomcctv replied to ja3372's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Your budget is good for a 4 way system .... Then the price goes up again. With your budget I would go 4 cameras and 8 way NVR and add other cameras as and when your budget allows. Also NVRs are changing as in getting better ..... Better storage and cameras with colour night vision. So buy the best you can for your budget. https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-ip-security-camera-system/hd-security-camera-system-with-2k-recorder-weatherproof-cameras/LN10802-84W-1-p -

[newbe] An help to create my first dvr system
tomcctv replied to effelle's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. Below $100 .... Don't need face detection ....... For your home All opposite of what people want in a home security system. Seeing faces is a must .... De- warping ... You are best with the company that made the camera. Each camera makers software for de-warp is different -
Hi. 180 degree rang of 1 to 3 km for under $250 can't happen What happends once you see the birds ?? Have you thought of something like this Battery operated shot gun sounder with sensors and pre programmed sounder. Full battery operated.
-
Hi. Good idea to stick with the same brand. Day and night is going to be your obstacle...... IR or starlight I don't think is going to help you. Dahua teamed up with flir a few years ago. Flir are the leaders in thermal cameras and distance cameras. Last year dahua put together a hybrid thermal PTZ. They also do fixed cameras but you are not looking at birds from same direction every time. Your project is not going to be cheap and you need to spend on a solution that will work. I would look at contacting flir and dahua and send your requirements to the tech departments.

VMeyeSuper APP Remote playback dropping frames
tomcctv replied to dad33's topic in Digital Video Recorders
It does make sense.... your mini nvr can’t playback 4 cameras at 1080. Because it can’t cope. Using WiFi to mobile devices is the same you need to set playback lower and that can be done at the app -

Hi. Switch app resolution to standard might help you. But you are also connecting to a China server for wan connection Not much you can do with a $34 NVR -

Help wanted with a Floureon H.264 network
tomcctv replied to Deanw1973's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi which app are you using .... is it XMEye? The problem is your dvr is already registered via cloud .... the other problem is the last owner can also see both your systems -
Hi. That still sounds like a power problem 50w at that distance is 4.7 ..... Your first power supply was too small New power supply 7amp should be ok so you need to look at your cable size ...... If the conductors ...... (Your power cable) is too small your camera will not get the amps it needs to pull Quick test is to place power supply close to camera ..... Use a extension lead just to test

Im going to buy a nvrsystem from ali .pls help needed
tomcctv replied to danny76a's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi. You need to do more homework before you buy. First don't buy from Ali. No back up no warranty no updates Again more homework Buying cheap junk is just wasting your money You need something that is compatable with other cameras. Look to purchase something long term Buy once not twice -
Adding a BNC loop to a DVR that does not have loop ports

I need Camera advice. Pelco, Arecont, or Samsung/Wisenet
tomcctv replied to gxenakis's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. As well as looking at cameras. You also need to say what type of business you have. The type of business is important and have a system that works and protects. Does it hold expensive stock Does it hold or pass lots of money Is the business open or closed to public As well as security do you want staff safety in the work place. How secure do you want your system ....many people are using systems were other people can post time date and get full access from any CCTV forum to take control of systems. Remote viewing ...... Same again most people don't realise there remote is from a China server. But out of your list Pelco would be my option..... But spending that sort of money avigilon would be a better option. -
But most people stay away from junk now. Titathink. Crap

No sorry it don't just DC12v+10% 50w. Like I said at the start bud it works fine until it changes over to night mode. Hi. Yes I understand your post ........ Your camera will need more power to run at night than in the day time. Which is why I ask about your cables and power supply. Your power supply is not good enough for 50w (that will be its max in night mode) You need to change to at the least 12v 5amp or higher. You need basic 4.7 You power supply is only 4amp

Hi. Does the PTZ have a power option of 12 or 24v
