Hi. Looking at your cable ..... does the brade have another cable in the middle ? Tvi sould be on 75ohm ..... coax or use of baluns If you can replace some of the cables then I would.

Qvis is good equipment.... longest running distributors in the uk and a good tech team that know there products. I have never sent anything back warranty wise . And I have been using them for years Ip setup is the same as any other except qvis have also invested in the own monitoring and ddns giving better security to your systems.

We’re was you attacked . It’s the wireless battery system that’s attacked You are right we can all disagree and make own minds up. People who buy there first system always make a mistake if they don’t do homework. You seem to be letting the fact that blown installation is your main problem Cable rods is the simple answer

tomcctv replied to bmw1999m3's topic in System Design
Hi. Cheap China cameras can give lots of problems .... one is the power neutral and video neutral use the same cable which is not good 3 cameras down 1 cat5 and only 1 pair for power..... your giving yourself a problem. Installing without baluns on cat5. ..... well you have problems -
Why even try ...... you have more than a capacitor problem. You also have track burn out

Hi. Wireless system on 3000 + sq ft you will be lucky to get cameras to work Ok 5 days away .... who will charge the cameras ??? Ip camera system I listed why do you need to run cables everywhere? Your link is only for two cameras buying two extra to make it 4 cam system is a lot more than your budget Wireless does not work and now with stupid rechargeable cameras is just wasting money. Sit back and have a coffee ..... ask yourself ...... how long do you want the system to last ? Can you buy a camera in 12 months if one fails What is life time of batteries with charging all the time. Do you want security that will last years or waste money every few years

Hi. You might not need anything in the lock box as you also have to take into account of the natural heat generated by the recorder. But if you do need a little heat you need it to be controlled or you will fry hard drive. The easy way is a cool and heat kit .... also known as camera housing heater and very cheap to buy

Help - new system setup (e-seenet.com)
tomcctv replied to Grendel's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Why use a China server to connect to your own system Also the address you are using is down anyway. Use my-ip at home to find your IP address and try that on your pc away from home -
Hi. That is a pointless system ..... just think about basics ..... rechargeable cameras....... so for hours your camera has been taken down just to charge it. Means no protection while on charge What are you going to do if you go on holiday or spend a weekend away. You can’t Evan add other cameras to that system other than the recharge cams...... new idea but useless Take a look at this one https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-ip-security-camera-system/4-channel-hd-security-camera-system-with-ip-cameras/HDIP44D-1-p

Hi. Auto tracking PTZ cameras are a waste of time and they miss most of the footage you might need. Your system is 720p analog HD so that camera would not work on your system.
-
Hi. There is not much advice when you have such a low budget. Look for a lorex ip based system. Also use a nvr ..... going with SD card will limit your storage and like you have said you have traffic on two of your cameras and that will fill your SD in no time

How to run video and electricity for 1000 ft run
tomcctv replied to blkblts's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi what format of camera did you install at the gate -
You mean posted wrong drawing ..... you still can’t do rs485 on the drawing you sent
-
Wow you just don’t give up do you ...... look at pan and tilt it says 220v. Also ptz head supples camera voltage which as you have seen from your spec is also 220v Low and high voltage together is not spec now as heads now are either 12v or 24v and has common protocols and rs485 and you can pic them up for $40 - $50 That head is too old ...... any tech guy with any sense will buy a new head instead of looking at spending on manchester box or vcl control unit See the spec you posted pan 220v tilt 220v
-
Yes your new ..... it tells you the voltage in the diagram 220v And you can’t control that with rs485 that head is too old for rs485 It does not even have the hardware for rs485 it’s too old Link power for camera to be attached is also 220v which is not used no more and hasn’t for over 10 years. Your tech support for a company that started back in 2005 Why is it so hard to understand that head is too old and does not conform
-
You must be new to tech support Again head unit you listed CAN NOT be rs485 controlled without control box ..... 220v is none compliant anymore on head units And like already said it’s cheaper to go new ptz than to buy a manchester box or control box ...... and your also going to get stuck when it comes to the protocol
