Cat 5 to Analog DVR Conversion Help
tomcctv replied to erictelese's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Yes you have to buy for the camera ..... It also does the power so you need the right connections on the rj45. But at $19 each ...... It is best to just buy cameras and use the existing cables There is no point spending $19 on each camera that is only 380 TVL plus the problem you might have with the cameras being 100ohm....... CCTV is 75ohm For an extra $2 https://www.amazon.com/Amcrest-AMC960HDC36-W-Weatherproof-coaxial-included/dp/B00YZF8D28/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506375551&sr=1-6&keywords=CCTV+960h+cameras+amcrest -

Hi. 720 is the low end ..... look at 1080 You can just replace your dvr with this and still use your existing cameras and replace later https://www.lorextechnology.com/security-dvr-and-surveillance-dvr/lhv2000-series-high-definition-digital-video-recorder/LHV21081TW-1-p Or this as a complete system. https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-dvr-security-system/4mp-hd-camera-home-security-system/MPX2K88-1-p -

Hi it started last week...... hik have posted a ivms update as of yesterday. But I would look at a 3rd party remote app for your customers and use new passwords and ports .... also remove 80 port forwarding New hik app I guess will only have a few days before that has problems as well. Not good for your customers and I would change which recorder you use -

1080P Camera with PIR、SMOKE DETECTION、SIREN function
tomcctv replied to Aimy's topic in Security Cameras
Go look back in forum about 10 years...... Been to China many times.........I buy direct from a name brand. Cameras has got smaller and neater........which is something customers look for Your swan camera has gone backwards ...... Not something I would or could sell to install in a house ..... It's ugly CCTV is CCTV If people want gas detection .......then my advice is to use something that is fit for its job. Gas. carbon monoxide Alarms I would surgest using a brand name device which ARE proven life saving devices. -

Well that did not take long to admit your a spammer You might be swan ..... but to use a package design and logo from a real company like Swann...... just shows what kind of company people are best not dealing with. So basically it's like adding extra to your system........the same as using a standard system then adding alarm sensors for gas / motion / alarm A holiday ...... China or myrtle beach... myrtle beach wins -
Hi. To value safety then recording is important...... If you can't look back after a problem it's pointless. Colour dome with IR and a dvr is not going to break the bank. As far as getting picture to her tv .....you would use the existing cable so place the dvr by the tv. The black / white box you talk about ... Will not work with new smart TVs. But most smart TVs now have p in p ....picture in picture so you only need to connect dvr to a HDMI input.

Hi. Yes it is simple ...... connect dvr to your router... then go into menu of your dvr and select guide from the menu. Follow instructions ..... if you don't have qr reader on your pad then download xmeye app onto your pad . At app setup click local or if you want to view from anywhere click cloud -

1080P Camera with PIR、SMOKE DETECTION、SIREN function
tomcctv replied to Aimy's topic in Security Cameras
This is not the first time a company has tried to build an all in one camera with fire or gas detection. Someone even built smoke detector into a standard light bulb. None worked Your listed system ........ 90% of people install cameras outside so why buy a 4 cam gas detect system Then your pir detection .... no setting at dvr only at camera..... hence why no one has fitted one before ..... with everything built into camera how do you turn the functions off via dvr siren built into camera. All these functions on a outdoor camera is something no one wants. Pointless If you want cctv ...... buy cctv If you want house alarm ..... but a house alarm Gas / fire detection ....... buy a good brand trusted detector But ..... why would anyone buy from a cctv name that copy the Swann packaging design but only change the name This crap system is from ....... swan Removing a N from SWANN . Does not make it a Swann so no the posted system is not in Costco like you state -
Hi. Yes best keep it simple. And what you are asking for is a simple dvr
