1080P Camera with PIR、SMOKE DETECTION、SIREN function
tomcctv replied to Aimy's topic in Security Cameras
Crap does not become popular ..... you just waste money buying crap -
Hi have you setup again using the QR code ?
-
Hi. No you can use your existing cable (cat5). For tvi cvi AHD cameras .....you can run 4 down 1 existing cat cable As far as price 4 way starts at £80..... No hard drive. £270 with hard drive .....for the pioneer Quattro if not using IP cameras .....Quattro 5 8 £243. What type of business is it for.?
-
Hi. I ment your falcon and hik links. Your pro had a lot of functions .... did you use any of them or just use as a recorder. Even just changing the recorder from a aver to the qvis is going to give you better images as the aver only displayed in cif The pioneer Quattro 5 will run all format of cameras cvi tvi AHD ip ..... all digital and in there mp res .... it will also run your existing cameras in d1 which you aver could not do. The only problem you will have is your existing ip cameras. 1.3mp with no onvif support But with cvi and tvi cameras being so cheap and are 2 and 4mp it would be best to replace them. And you would not need the switch that is used along side your aver. What type of business are you.

hikvision app connection issues
tomcctv replied to nickmcdoug's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Please edit all your pictures ..... Remove them all as you have opened all your settings to everyone. Setup manual. BT hub is easy to portforward. And you will have a static address. Go to my IP www.myip.com And Wright down the IP address shown on top of the page ......that is your external IP DONT post it on here. We're are you based -
As you can see from the forum I have been selling and installing avermedia for over 15 years. And your link is not even close to some of the avers. Qvis I have been buying for over 20 years and never sent a unit back. Only last Monday late evening a customer had 2 qvis tvi cameras shot out with air rifle and the £29 cameras stood up to it .....smashed glass and IR board but still was able to record. Qvis are manufactures not installers and the longest running CCTV company in the uk.

It does 1080p@12fps or 720p@25fps on all channels. It can also do 3MP@12fps on the first two channels. It also has two extra IP channels, but I am not sure it will be easy to get those two channels working with anything that is not a Hikvision IPC. Tvi is upto tvi 3 .........so the unit posted is already out of date. And also to give restrictions to what can be used on each channel is also a thing of the past with other manufactures so a waste of money from the start with not being able to upgrade.
-
Hi that is a pls pioneer...... it will still be ok for you but Quattro 5 is better. Qvis unit also allows you to use dahua apps and pss
-
I would take a look at the qvis Quattro 5.

Is this system for home or business and how many channels
-
Hi. Before you waste money. It is best to call ACTI 2013/14 cameras and not ONVIF and might give you problems. See if there is a firmware update from 2014 for your cameras. Both your links are old units .... The HIK is only 1080 on first two channels and 720 on the rest .....which is pointless now with 1080 being so cheap. I see you used to use the avermedia .......can I ask did you buy from a guy called Stuart....... Leeds way ?
-
No. One is ip the other is analog. Why did you buy cheap crap baby monitor and think it would be a good outdoors ptz? Buy a cctv camera and not cheap baby monitoring crap
-
Hi. This guy is good and honest.... but based in Texas.... long term member of the forum http://www.apexcctv.com

PLC ethernet over powerline for analogue AHD
tomcctv replied to HeadsUp's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices
Hi. The problem is there all different formats. Cvi is digital at camera tvi is converted at dvr same as AHD and SDI We have done it with cvi but it's expensive Cheapest way and as most recorders are now full hybrid ....IP CVI TVI AHD SDI ...... Is to use IP over power were needed -
Hi. The cameras if ordered by themselves they would also come with a power supply. It also gives you the option to not use the Poe or if you are using a switch or router along your network.

IP camera export .xls file seems to be missing information
tomcctv replied to joey54's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. Sounds like a China copy of a hikvision......... Problem is there is no support......and you can't replace with hik software -
Don't read old reviews....... lorex is now owned by flir and flir are licences to build dahua systems Reviews ..... are bad in everything if you believe everything you read on them
-
Hi. That is not the right screen. Left click....... Enter password.......... And look down menu till you see guide.......click on it and follow screen commands Dvr needs to be connected to router first.
-
Hi. I never use supplied cables ........plus they are never long enough I would buy a reel of good cat5 or 6 And also put in extra runs for other devices in the future.. Run car5 to camera locations and add cat5 to TVs you might want to view NVR on..... Even to doorbell and get alerts when pushed. Nice to see you are doing your homework as regards to cable ..... Your right it saves time in the future.
-
Yes I did read the comments but every recorder has just as many negative reviews and more. what do you suggest? If comments like this don't bother you then there is no hope. From the discription 4 people have complained and there answer is. So not only cheap crap but also lie and only find out its 720p when bought. You need to give a budget amount before anyone can recommend anything
-
Hi. Yes your right ..... Only for remote viewing away from your home over Internet. ..... And that system allows you to lower bandwidth
-
Hi. $1.200 is a good budget. If starting from scratch then yes IP is best and is better future proof Your internet speed has nothing to do with your system. But is only used to give you the option to view your system over the Internet. So does not matter if you go IP or analog HD This is a good system and is colour day and night with extra channels to upgrade https://www.lorextechnology.com/hd-ip-security-camera-system/8-channel-security-camera-system-with-6-hd-surveillance-cameras/LN10804-86W-1-p
