    Camera transmission

Use a device call VDS, which could use only one coaxial cable to transit the data and power, 1000M max. 1000m is less than a mile ..... op is looking for 4 mile. Running coax for 4 mile is not cost effective
  4. Well i was told they still do magic here Ok, on a serious note, i know the budget is low. However i strongly recommend you to check the below links & suggest. https://www.amazon.in/Wireless-Security-Infrared-Business-Security/dp/B01GL9UP76/ref=pd_sbs_236_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=V1P7Z4SN5R2YRS6EJ7A5 https://www.amazon.in/Its-Wireless-WIFI-Outdoor-Camera/dp/B01LYO7NXF/ref=pd_cp_23_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DNTM78NH770Q5HMK3KD2 These are wireless, within the budget & almost caters to most of the requirements. Thanks. Well I said you could buy junk with that budget..... Just pick one you like and buy it

    Soffit installation

Hi. Don't remove any pvc ........ Looks like the front of your house has had a conversation from garage to an extra room. I would keep it simple and drill a hole where you want your camera ..... 2inch then I would insert 6inch length of 1 an half inch square wood ..... Run two screws into pvc then into wood ....... Keeping the two screws within the diameter of your camera base so cam covers them. Quick draw.
  12. Hi. Also go into dvr settings and see if your set for PAL or NTSC That would also make your images look like that.

    Poor Picture on one camera

Hi what size power supply NkioEdQoWc4
  14. Hi. What you are doing wrong is buying cheap $20 crap. I would not take any notice of your NVR being ONVIF or not even the latest. Cameras could also be a problem ..... If you have bought China copy of Foscam or hik......again ONVIF comparability problems. Try using the rstp feeds from your cameras. Also the N6200-8E needs to be told which resolution output you want to use
  15. So you think all 8 cameras each blew their own power adapter at the exact same time since having them 7 years ago? that seems too unlikely to me Hi.yes it sounds like a power supply problem ..... you have 1 box you say that powers the cameras ... sounds like is is starting to fail. I would also look at a better hard drive 250 for 8 cameras ?

    Newbie with DNS questions

Hi. A good installer would set up a DDNS service in your name and let you set your own passwords. Have you asked your ISP if they do a static IP address .....sometimes there free or some charge a small fee. But before setting another up I would change your recorder passwords and give it another local IP .... To block the existing DDNS service.

Hi. Your lg is client based ..... So you will not have support anymore with the age of your unit. No point spending any time of money on a CIF based recorder

POe switcher for time changing cameras

Hi. No. Poe switch to camera and network cable to router.... Leave NVR out till you have altered camera settings. You would access your camera via PC browser using the IP address for the camera. How did you first setup your viper unit ? Did you setup NVR first and set all the time and date. Or did you connect everything then setup time and date. What are your settings on the time menu.
