Ah cool! So this product removes the need to drill holes in the wall? You just install one device inside and another one where the nvr is? No mounting camera still needs fixing or you still need to get power to it A lot of adverts say the benifits of wifi is no holes........ which is crap as they still need power....... so same size hole if power or Ethernet

Simple view of my backyard that I can record
tomcctv replied to lostsoul65's topic in General Digital Discussion
Just shows you know nothing. Lorex is owned by flir who have a full production licence. There recorders look nothing like dahua ones. As far as app ..... first it's just the lite app and it has only had 4 downloads from the App Store ..... again it's dahua app and just had badge changed. So you are happy in your claim that he sells better cameras and that dahua supplies him with better cameras than what dahua produce for everyone else. The sales man lies to you he lies on website about them being the developers -
Any weather proof rj45 connector that works with Axis E cams
tomcctv replied to avraam's topic in Security Cameras
No. Not wrong . The black kit ......take a look at it .....it is pointless and none Poe for axis......... But besides that why would you waterproof the rj45 and not the power plug........ Then a couple of inches away you have another rj45 there is nothing in the kit to waterproof that .....pointless. For axis Not used one yet ........ But say am wrong -
Hi. Networked all the time ...,, wifi has too many problems ..... but with products like netgear Ethernet over power there is no point going wifi

Simple view of my backyard that I can record
tomcctv replied to lostsoul65's topic in General Digital Discussion
Yes lorex do sell the 4mp and the 8 8k If you want to spam that company .... then get facts right about other companies But you have to remember your seller is only rebadging dahua So they sound stupid with saying we designed this and that. A 6 month old company will not have cameras made by dahua -

Trying to choose a 4MP surveillance system for my home!
tomcctv replied to SurGuy's topic in General Digital Discussion
I take it you are the owner of the company You do understand lorex flir are dahua cameras And the cameras you have listed are the old dahua model But you seem happy buying from a company that claims to of developed them .... which is salesman crap So you pay less ... 10% if you buy one .... yet you pay $25 more if you buy 4 Like I said company only started in September .... has a lot to learn. -
Trying to choose a 4MP surveillance system for my home!
tomcctv replied to SurGuy's topic in General Digital Discussion
That is only a 2k camera .... again over priced. Why if you buy 1 it's $199.99 Buy 4 and it's $824.95 So more you buy the more money each you pay......if you think that's a discount. Someone needs a new calculator 4K 8mp camera the same .... is the same price as his 2k 4mp anywhere else. Think they mean dahua develop Company gives a lot of crap when just sticking a badge on there products But with only trading since September guess they have a lot to learn -

tomcctv replied to SurGuy's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi the problem will be warranty. There selling rebadged dahua ... they are not there products And they do cost a little more. New company not even a year old. Don't trust everything you read No they have not developed camera with night time colour......... they only sell dahua With there badge on ..... that makes dahua the developer -

Hi. You have said nothing about how you powered the head -
Hi. Don't waste your money on the indoor wifi ptz it's not a dahua. Little table top cameras are pointless. For the $90 you could buy 2 cvi cameras. If you already have analog then go for a 8way recorder hybrid which will run any formate camera
