Hi. You need to use your local IP address for your dvr. And add that as another device..... name one ... home. (Local ip) and the other ... not home To find your local ip and the settings of your dvr.... down load this and scan your LAN network and you will see your dvr IP Network Analyzer Lite - wifi info, scanner & ping by Techet https://appsto.re/gb/H8dHH.i -

tomcctv replied to robbybach's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Your best bet is buying dvr with hard drive There is no point talking about a unit over 17 years old.... just to find a comparable hard drive it will be cheaper to buy sata dvr Yours will be cif and will also need software..... no remote apps and no updates -
Hi. I would use 4 X 4mp cameras and connect them to a NVR in the commons room swap each range view with just click of a mouse......This eliminates the use of laptops. I would also setup a local wifi network ...... Just the cost of a good router. That way each shooting ally will have wifi which will allow shooters to use there own smart device ... Cellphone....tablet....laptop To view there own target. And even record there own target on there own devices. So yes you can do it for well under $4000 4 X 4mp cameras 1 NVR recorder 1 netgear 5g wireless router Is all you need

Gate Opener and CCTV Solution over 250m+ Distance
tomcctv replied to tyh's topic in General Access Control Discussion
Hi. You are making it hard for yourself only thinking IP. Your distance is too long for local network 100m is safe. Then you have the network connection to gate Look at a 3mp CVI camera .... Cat5 from house to gate .... Distance is not a problem. Also connect camera to dvr at house and use the onboard relay on dvr to control gates ... By push button and remote from dvr app for android or iOS -
Hi. It is good you have taken the time to strip down your camera. I hope you did not waste your time putting it back together....... I would of just put it in the bin. It's also good to see how crap it is made...... electrical tape to stop components rubbing is also a clear sign of crap Grease on bottom also sign of crap. Also battery operated .... why use a uncommon battery type ?? $20 a month for batteries..... be cheaper to plug in. Thanks for leaving your review and pictures ..... people can see how bad it is made and see they are buying junk
-
Hi. You have bought a analog dvr that will take only 2 ip cameras The ones working ... are they connected by bnc ? Your ezviz no point using cameras controlled by a 3rd party in China. Don't open your home network to a China server. For cloud
