    Defender image quality issue

Hi. Are your images ok at night time It looks like your ir filter is stuck Or ... at least on two of your images the camera look as if the sensor is not picking up day light...... are your cameras in the shade ? Which type of camera are they. And is the lens clean
  3. Hi. It is not a good idea to load firmware on a no name unit Why do you need firmware

    IR LED 4-Pin Pinout

Hi. You can do it from the menu. If you go camera settings you will see two columns Right is day time settings left is night settings ..... Tick the box on night setting and then enter the time you want it to switch to B/W and set time you want to go colour .... Hit save then apply
  5. Cameras will already be on local network with ports. To connect away from local network its external IP plus ports.
  6. Hi yes your info is accurate....NVR = network video recorder. Your cameras can be in one place and NVR other side of world. There are problems also associated with doing it ...... Loss of Internet connection video image reduced. But a cheap way around that is two NVRs..... One at camera location the other at monitoring location ..... This way has the advantage of two lots of recording storage at two locations.
  7. Hi. Can you make a drawing of your camera layouts You will need Poe switch in areas

    Need serious help dvr selection

Wow .... Your right stick with TVT Dahua don't have different interfaces for each format
  10. Hi. That format is only good for 300ft you can use repeaters but they cost a lot .... 900ft will need two repeaters so an extra $150 to 200 on each camera Be cheaper to send the SDI system back and go cvi. Thank you for your response. 10 of 16 cameras will be under 300ft. range, but 6 of 16 cameras will be 900ft. range. Any other alternatives to repeater? Hi. Not with SDI....... It can't run on baluns or cat5. And the repeaters are not that reliable It's going to cost you around 2k in repeaters Your best option is to swap dvr for a tribrid use your existing SDI for under 300 and use cvi cameras for above ...... Lot less than the 2k cost

Yes like many are very familiar with TVT. 4 years ago they refused any support to 60% of there distributors and would not replace units. It's clear you don't know dahua if you think the interface is different to there cvi ..... It's the same interface for cvi tvi ahd 960h and IP. TVT has the most basic interface on the market .... It's budget DIY Look at avermedia interface As a installer you should be fitting a system for the environment it is protecting with features that are needed for that customer. Sticking with one format you are not giving your customers the service of an install company.

Dahua runs both tvi and cvi. Cvi is now upto 4mp. You can't compare TVT to anything else .... It's the lowest budget system on the market.

Hi. Move away from tvi ... Open source tend to be the same. Your list of dislikes is long and does not leave much left. Try dahua cvi or start using IP systems.
  15. Hi no the uss link is the wrong region for your dvr and will brick it. You keep asking for latest firmware ..... The last update was 2012. It's too old to mess with.
  16. Only you can try .... It's a 3rd party website. Why do you need to update ?
  17. Hi. RoHS is a standard not the make of your dvr. You have a old avtech unit there is no latest firmware

New DVR, only 3 cams working

Hi. If you have already replaced everything and it is still the same then I would look at cable type and also the distance from camera to power

Spy Cameras, a new tactical weapon.

    Junk is always junk.
  21. Hi. No ... you might find old hik software but don't think your camera will take it
  22. Hi. He will need to use both or swap out your dvr for another dahua so all his stores are the same If he has multiple stores he might also use smart pas and your recorder is not compatible with that
  23. Hi why are you looking at using a dahua app ??
