which camera is better from these 3?
tomcctv replied to imcool's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Are you new to eBay ??? You have a small budget why waste it buying cheap junk from China. Do you have a PC ??? You can use that as your recorder .... And then use IP cameras ..... And also you don't need to buy all 4 at once ... Buy 1 or 2 and add as budget allows. -

Hi it means a lot ....... op is looking for high end ... uni is not also hikvision..... look how simple it is to get past .... put serial No for recorder or camera on a forum ... and someone will generate a password which over rides admin. Put a system like that into a store or gas station and bad staff can switch it on or off..... remove footage stop it from recording..... even lock out the owner of the system........ that makes a system useless for high end application

i have the same request... If anyone can answer this please!! Hi. There is no update..... It's too old

Hi. Over 10 years old so no support it's also a CIF low quality recorder you also need proprietary viewer software. You also have to match software for the region of dvr ... In your case ZM .... Put anything else on and you can't change back

Hikvision Analog Turbo HD camera - Language Mismatch Problem
tomcctv replied to julian167's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Tvi is open source so using any tvi camera should not give you any problem. Are both cameras the same ?? And are they both tvi .... Hik also does cvi as well .... Cvi will give that message Also if tvi are both 2mp ? 3mp tvi will not work and will also give the message. Have you also been into settings then setting camera order ..... On recorder and added camera....... Look at PAL or NTSC. If that is wrong that will also give the message -

Help with access control system
tomcctv replied to cctvsystems's topic in General Access Control Discussion
Hi. It's been a long time since I have seen one of those. It looks like you are in the uk .. Looking at your picture. Take over and maintain a system of this age is not worth it. First you as the manager will have to bring it upto code It is powered via ring main......not to code Power cable runs over power transformer.....unsafe Can't make out any fire control. As far as software you could give ebbe a call but a system over 15 years old I don't think they will support. What type of place is the access control used in ? -
opinions or recommendations for a new residential system
tomcctv replied to WILDCATSWON1's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
I don't have power cables for cameras run. I was referring to the electricity service lines to the garage. I have 100 amp service run to my garage. Yes I was talking about your existing power line You can run your camera data over that cable -

tomcctv replied to WILDCATSWON1's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Another way besides wifi and is better is to use your existing power cables to garage. Also hdmi splitters are expensive ... it is cheaper to buy a tablet for we're you want to view your system .... -

Hi. Metal cameras are available from many manufacturers with no problems But you are talking about condensation......and that is a install problem Condensation means camera is not sealed .... and not being sealed then the camera can not hold heat either ... giving you the camera loss
