Floureon CCTV home system power supply issues

Hi. Did you use the cable kit that comes with the floureon system ?? And what is the camera distance from power supply
  3. Well what do you expect with stupid questions. You have a plug and play dahua ..... And you are struggling Like I said are your Foscam compatable ???? Or do you not have a clue Hi Tom, we should be more relaxed when offering explanations. He is somehow right about his problem. What he did not "see" was the fact the nvr is using 2 different network adapters and has a problem managing network segments when using same subnet on both. In fact, the NVR uses 2 different adapters but does not offer switching capabilities between them. So, he should use NIC1 as 192.168.1.xxx, set to default interface (in order to have web and other ports assigned to it) and NIC2 as 192.168.2.xxx. Cameras should have the ip as 192.168.2.xxx connected to NIC2. This way all trouble is gone. It would be better if you read the post from the start ......, op will not get a second gui from the camera inputs Only from the network output. If you think this is the right way to connect Then why answer the post bear in mind his NIC 1 is the POE ports ....the camera connection 1 to 8 Like I said plug and play ... If not then set camera up to match the NVR and then plug it in if not onvif But take a look at the ops reply ...... He does not want to listen so I stick by my reply
  4. To a point yes that is right if you are using a h265 camera on a h264 machine you will use more cpu while converting to h264 and then not see any bandwidth saving at all. H265 to h265 (not +h264) less cpu half bandwidth there are a few vms Geo Ave Vivotek Axis by the end of the year I have seen multiple tests showing Smart H.264 codecs saving more bandwidth than current H.256 cameras. Factor in current H.265 support for current VMS platforms and you have a mess on your hands. Example: I am running Genetec 5.5 at my office and I have the new Samsung QND-7010R with H.265 support and I can only use H.264 with Genetec at the moment. +h264 smart h264 h264 plus are all open source and can't communicate with each other H265 is the standard now 4K cameras or 4K movie stream

    Cloudsee / Jovision

Another China company claim there in the USA .... The products for that app was discontinued in 2012 it says that on the China website. Either send it back or bin the dvr and use the cameras with another dvr. You don't want a China cloud service

    Megapixels vs Quality??

Hi. Will be a mistake to buy for $300 Plus I don't think the axis will help with the location you have posted. Can you no mount it higher ??

    Megapixels vs Quality??

Hi. No you can no longer flash hikvision English software from this October. If you buy trendnet you can't flash with hik Axis 1mp has been around for years and still it holds its own against high pixel China cameras. 1mp will always be better at night .... Also look at the stretch on the trendnet/hik. And the image looks nothing like 2mp

    Mirai Malware

Hi. Watch out there are a lot of scams going around Your ISP would not let you know ...... . And can't tell you have only one infected. The miral does not infect it opens your network. Do you use a P2P or a cloud for your recorders. Also it was not just security products ... It's also printers network kettles, network thermostats
  15. Did you not even bother to open or even read the instruction manual. We're did you get nic 1 and nic 2 from A simple plug and play system has been turned into a headache And also are your Foscam cameras even compatable with that system You can't access the gui from camera ports

my DVR is getting hacked after upgrade!

Hi. China information centre is your main one Where did you get the software from to install. You also have one from Taiwan Removing dvr from network will not stop your problem .... Do a full router reset and also check you IP changed.

CCTV brand used to break into Dyn

It's not a case of hacking ..... And not a case of which CCTV brands. Standalone DVRs NVRs don't have the software to accept commands But what is a problem is the easy network setup that comes with the systems in the form or QR scan setup ... And even then the recorder or camera does not access your network as it can't. It's when you scan the code on the screen with cell or tablet that then allows a command to open and change your router network. It drops your router security firewalls it gives your home network a http address along side the one your ISP assigned the the other http is the problem and is the key hole in your network un protected way in past security firewalls....... QR code and cloud services should not be used and reset and do network settings your self including full router reset
  18. Hi. Cvi is licences from dahua So dahua lorex or icrealtime....... And hikvision but I would give hik a miss

  20. Hi. It now depends if you have a true hikvision .... Gray market Also hik have changed there setup ..... Try changing the admin passwords before you submit.
  21. Hi the lorex is a dahua. You can go with the new hikvision model but you would not have full control. Give lorex a call but tell them you already have cvi cameras 70% off at the moment. https://www.lorextechnology.com/store/
