You can change lens cover Do you have one there
-
Hi. Yes they are very good sensors we use them all the time 9v battery keeps them going for well over a year You also need the controller which you buy with the amount of zones you need Got one controller for the 3 sensors. Downsides are the limited angel they can cover (only 75°) and they don't really have pet immunity besides a flat beam at 1 metre 50 height. Optex wireless was a tad too expensive unfortunately as they fix both issues. Hi lens pack is $5 .... Also pet ..... Turn lens upside down

Sure, avoid this product though. I think the new revision has vent holes now. I wish I could find an HD version of this unit! Hi. It's been years since someone posted one of those on here. You just need to buy a 4 way dvr for your needs and get your motion and alarm and remote view -

What are your thoughts about the cameras i bought?
tomcctv replied to eyeinthesky221's topic in Security Cameras
Well I think you did ....REALLY IMPORTANT But that's a post you can't alter. Same as your PTZ housing ..... That takes a Sony module not hitachi Again if your happy with hik China gray market go and buy them you think they are ok As far as NVR again that or use a PC ..... But see if it works with hikvision software -
What are your thoughts about the cameras i bought?
tomcctv replied to eyeinthesky221's topic in Security Cameras
Yes you are right ...... Just buy them ... They can go into the box of the rest of the crap you bought Since you are talking in euros then you will also need a China NVR because that camera will not run on euro NVR And if you think updates are not important -
Higher amperage power supply for ip camera
tomcctv replied to Nandos's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Both power supplies will work for you amps will not damage your camera -
Hi. Peter. With the cost of that PTZ I would think of using two good high MP cameras one for each location Auto detect and track. Sounds good and it is in the right environment But on a home you will find it will let you down .... Ok if you have one intruder but what will your camera do with two or more intruders...... Camera might if lucky follow one person but then have no image of the others and then no face detection. All CCTV systems should be designed with evidence collection in mind .... Cameras can't stop intruders but they can be classed as a set of eyes .... You need cameras to see what has gone on and catch face images and also let you see what they touch so finger prints can be part of the evidence I would look at spending on more cameras rarther than just to one which might not catch everything

All hikvision you can upgrade..... China copy will not run true hik cameras ..... And the warning in the advert multiple times is a clue it is not a true hikvision. But if you think there a good buy then get them -

Where did I say that?? I only said I've the dome housing. Correcting you when you said it is just the camera module. As you don't say the definition for "junk" and just keep regurgitating that word, I don't know what do you expect. Do you have any useful suggestion? Hik is a copy of what? Nice post editing ........ You posted working fine .... Now edited with bhp It's clear you don't know what copy is and very clear you don't understand junk hik is a China copy of hikvision ....... You can't upgrade the software and it will be in Chinese -
Hi. Another China cloud system I know it's not what you want to hear Why do people buy security and then allow a China company to punch a big hole in there network .... Giving access o everything you do on your own network .... Internet banking .. Contacts ... Anything personal. Dvr168.com belongs to a company called XIN NET TECHNOLOG If your having problems it's time to change your system and remove all software related to that company from PC and have your ISP do a reset of your router

Again your the one who posted it is working fine ..... Without a way to control then it's not working fine . As far as your links none of them .... Hik is a copy and also has a warning on the ad. Do not update ..... So a cheap China copy You have already spent over 300 on junk you can't use and you are still looking at junk -

No it's not what you said at all ......... We can only reply to what you type 4th camera. 20 EUR Hitachi VK-S274ER American + Dynamica ADSDU822P Didn't figure out how to connect this one yet... weird connection. So you also have a controller to go with it ? If your happy with your Foscam then build your system with them But again 1.3mp for a 100 euros is way to much ....... Brand name 2mp are cheaper -
