Hi. Please do not buy a dvr with monitor built in .. What is your budget for a dvr I am welling to spend up to $300 i think for just the DVR I already have a 3TB HD in stock. I did read some of the other posts it seems TVL does not matter when it comes to analog since it is limited to NTSC. Sucks I will have to pull all new wires to get digital. Why do you need to pull new cables ? Just look for a cvi system TV lines does matter for analog ........ But I would look at mega pixel And NTSC does matter it's your country's format NTSC or PAL

Escam mini NVR, and wanscam IP camera
tomcctv replied to rebelbah's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hello, This is Cherry from Wanscam, It's regret that our JW series don't support onvif protocol so that can't connect the nvr successfully. would you want to try our HW series which can connect with NVR? Best Regards, Cherry Hi. Best to leave wanscam well alone. If there products don't support each other then that is a problem Cherry instead of saying buy more from wanscam ...... Fix the ops problem he has spent money with you why spend more -

How is this system for a residential home?
tomcctv replied to RockThis52's topic in Security Cameras
Hi. It is way off 1080p it is just a basic analog system The spec is put in such away to sell but forget the spec it's all crap Records at 12fps .... But playback is 30fps .... That can't happen Onvif..... Is more crap for a analog system If you have a better budget I would go cvi or IP .... Even if you go down to only 4 cameras you will get better images -

NVR setup without router
tomcctv replied to BillAk's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. A 4 way network switch is all you need ..... It will replace your router https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-GS105UK-Gigabit-Unmanaged-Ethernet/dp/B0000E5SEQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1467885768&sr=1-1&keywords=4+port+gigabit+ethernet+switch Thank you for your quick reply. Do switches like this transmit wifi signal? My cams are outside the house and it's impossible to run them through ethernet cable. No. If you need wifi then your other option is to just use another wifi router and not connect it to your network -

Old Nuvico Camera, Can't Figure Out a Replacement
tomcctv replied to dougone611's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. It depends on the type of cable used when first installed. To go with a BNC all you need to do is add a balun at each end ....this will then allow you to use any analog BNC camera. Don't know we're B for battery came from but just ignor it -
Hi. There are other camera types ... A box style might be best for you with the right lens. Going for a dome camera to look out of a window makes no sence also you are looking to 100ft ..... You will not do that with a dome

Hi. Qvis offer the best system the iZeus NVR 3000 Series is a very good system and is IP. Where are you located ?

Hi. Glad it all worked out for you

Hi. It is always best to use cable point to point and not have any joins. If you are looking at adding more cameras then I would buy a reel of cat5 Another option is eithernet over power. http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/networking/powerline/?cid=gwmng

Hi. The first link is a AHD coax system £385 then you need cable and a power supply so you are looking at £500 to have it working. Your second post is a tvi coax system 1080p not real time or 720p realtime .... Same again you need cable and power supply. Have you looked at going IP system ?

GUARD24PRO application for IOS
tomcctv replied to DOMICOPE's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Yes I am well aware of Singapore trading been there and shipped containers back and forth but that was not CCTV related..... I sold that company in 2001 I have 3 companies at the moment 2 security related 1 not. Am just getting ready for retirement So yes I understand sales practice in Singapore...... And I know it's not common practice for a customer to buy and pay one company and another company to supply........ But bad or wrong I can see why you are doing it Terms and conditions of SensorComb....... We will pass on personal information to a other party ....... You mean sell. And you make that compulsory......... Your supposed to be a security company -
Enterprise system with scalability - need recommendations
tomcctv replied to yoojie's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. With you using geo cards then you are going to have PCs available once cards are removed which will save you money in servers from the start. I would look at avigilon for your needs. Which means only replacing your analog cameras for IP and using avigilons vms which is free with there cameras and load that onto your existing PCs So the only cost you would be looking at is cost of cameras at each location. Multi location monitoring is not a problem with avigilon same with cell and smart device monitoring -

Hi. Carlos. What might be better for you is a wifi trail cam. They also have built in SD cards .... Or go for the option on a wifi SD card that now have good distance. -

Daryl now show my personal emails ....... Oh you can't Let me point a fact out in my personal emails i am 7 mile from y-cam Daryl733 is 6.700 mile away. If you need help I will only do via pm away from the argument from Daryl733. I have the firmware which I mentioned in my 2nd post which will allow your cameras to operate without the cloud configuration SO DARYL733 keep bringing something up you know nothing about But since you want to get personal daryl lee lets do it ......... And to be honest it needs explaining to your customers .... It shows just what type of person you are and it need editing . Why is it that https://www.lakson.com.sg/ don't offer money back on goods ?? T&C of Sales Online promotional prices are not available through other channels. Please order through online if you wish to enjoy the promotional prices. Goods sold are not returnable, exchangeable or refundable. Order will be process only when full payments are made. Please allow for 1 to 3 weeks for delivery. Why is it your customer are offered a free COMPULSORY SIGN UP to SensorComb All warranty void if not signed up to SensorComb and additional charges will apply?? If customers don't give there personal network data to them .... You must be the only CCTV supplier in the world to offer that crap. But let's take a look at SensorComb... It's been trading for just over 170 days .... So January 2016 Let see who owns it ....... Daryl Lee ... That must be you .... So let's see if I have it right..... Customers buy from Lakson CCTV they pay there money to you. But you have no refund or goods returned because SensorComb supples the equipment under what you call (Equipment Subsidised by SensorComb.) -
