  1. Is it not the same as going to cloud ? I would still recommend NVR local than going to cloud. But here we go another person who attracts other people's post for no reason And in turn taking a post off topic.

  3. Hi. TrendNet Do a 8 way NVR just use one of them for offsite storage.

Hi. Sounds like wrong app ... And that app looks a bad one anyway. You need to give a little more info .... Make of recorder ... How old.. And if you can a picture of your recorder screen

    hikvision cameras

To do what you are asking you would have to be a hikvision distributor. This can't work .... If you sell hikvision to your customer ...he pays you and you give the goods ..... If they fail you can't say to your customer that's hikvisions problem. You as the seller is the 3rd part the warranty belongs to you. What if a customer says I don't like the cameras or happy with them ...... Will hikvision give them there money back ? Hikvision only deal with there authorised distributors
  6. Hi. Did you buy your dvr new and from lorex ? You can use any ddns service and then add that address to any dahua app.

Hi. Bottom left on yout PSS screen ... Press screen to high res
  8. Hi. Far from being bust ..... It is now in private hands and got a lot bigger They might not be bust. But let me tell you, they are still are bad as they ever were. The issues are still the same and the fundamental cause of all their problems still remains, and thats Mike and Pauline. And until both of them leave, then there is no real long term future for this netvu. Stay away people, stay well away from DM DM are not simple to understand but they are not mention to be as there commercial units. They are one of the longest running Cctv companies around learn the system and you may not have problems
  9. Why would an IP camera have 300 milliseconds delay 30fps is only 33.3 milliseconds and that's a fact But either way milliseconds are not noticeable for this application Another lesson for you sunnykim MP dash cam has the same 33.3 milliseconds but have you noticed it .. Have you heard of anyone complaining of the delay ...... No because it is not noticeable ..... Does it delay the recorded playback does it delay live on monitor ... No not as a noticable problem. Now go back to ops first post and see op wants good images and op is not going to get that with D1 Other request is small compact .... Not going to have that with a big analog dvr. The picture I posted is small it runs a 2.5 hd or can run a ssd which makes it one of the smallest Poe nvrs on the market. Yet again sunnykim you take over another post with your D1 crap

    NSA's surveillance camera system

You will have to ask sunnykim if he sold nasa an analog camera " title="Applause" />
  11. It is only the same delay as analog. But instead of replying to post with IP in them .... Take your time to read the post first. This install is for a truck / lorry /waggon / big thing on wheels. Analog will have 8 coax plus power which will take a lot to hide in a drivers cab not to mention also having to install camera power. The delay .... You go to a analog system and move you hand while watching live. And you will see a slight delay which is the same as IP. But milliseconds does not matter to this install ... Again read the post ..... It's for a waggon lorry and am only guessing but I think the op is looking along the lines of what you get from a dash cam but with enough cameras for the size of his vehicle So a very un noticeable delay does not matter at all because the op will be driving and not watching a monitor 24/7. I would of surgested TVI or CVI but the same problem with coax and also there are no mini recorders that could be hidden in the cab.
  12. Hi. joeziah. IP system is ideal for your application for a number of reasons. Poe. Allows for image and power to each camera on a thin cat5 And be a plug and play .. This will also make it simple if your truck has a removable trailer. There are not many small analog recorders ... But NVRs can be nice and small to install in your cab area. The main part with doing your type of install is the size of camera So equipment I would look for is a mini dahua 8 way NVR and the 2mp dahua golf ball size cameras. And you can do it for half of your budget. The NVR 108-p dahua is there newest. Small unit it is the size of a mini iPad and a inch high. At around $110
  13. I have access to it both ways. I have it networked, and also have physical access. Thanks Tom! Hi. The system when bought comes with a burn option Either cd or cd-dvr. So you have two options use lots of cd or swap out cd writer for a DVD burner. As you can keep much more data. But either cd or DVD the discs can only playback on a PC. And with you having firmware over 3.3 . The player is added to each disk on completion of burning
  14. Hi. Are you viewing from dvr at the moment or PC ?

1080P Analog camera on regular DVR

Sunnykim you are amusing sometimes. So what you are saying now is tvi comes in two frequency...... Low and heigh. Depending on quality of coax ? I might be wrong here but when I have bought tvi or cvi the sales man has never asked me do I want high or low frequency. But let me give you another lesson and it's about coax cable old and new. When CCTV was not as popular and out of people's price range old school analog equipment ....and cheap rg59 was not available from China the coax was 100% copper So the fact is old coax .... Still in place and in good condition is Infact better. But if you asked anyone on forum or installers I think you will find new or old coax with tvi or cvi has not given any problems

    Samsung SSC-21 Cameras

This is we're your wrong and misleading tvl does matter on any system 320 line is CIF which takes us to you other wild comment ......the signal can be digitised to D1 .....I don't see how the op can do that when its a CIF system .... So again wrong information that does not exist on ops unit. Also wrong ..... Like I keep telling you the op DOES NOT HAVE a standard camera to a recorder..... So there is no option for a local power supply to the camera ..... And on this system audio is also part of power input This post is on to its second page with you trying to correct information that does not apply to this setup ..... So that is we're you are also misleading

1080P Analog camera on regular DVR

Yes that is probably true ...... BUT you are giving that distance af under 100m But it's far greater than 100m. And that's the part of your post that is wrong .... And has to be corrected
  19. tomcctv

1080P Analog camera on regular DVR

Not the correct information. Sunnykim if you don't know the product then don't answer a post. It saves time for members to get the right information. Tvi limited to under 100m is wrong

    1300 TVL Cameras

Hi. Your picture is of a everfocus dvr. So any dvr with 960h will do. Or a system that takes both tvi cvi and analog..... So you can change to better cameras later.
  21. Home monitor was free and worked with roku tv box and again was option And had a short time login. It changed Jan 2016 with a cost Now you have the camera IP you need to login to each of the cameras IP and change ports ... Then you add each camera to the app
  22. No I don't think they are the same at all. If you read from my first post and the rest .... DONT USE home monitor option. That means get the cameras off roku apps Use the standard apps .... Use local. Use that or eyespy app. From my first post I have been trying to get the op off the home monitor and get him to go local. That is how simple it is But here I am trying to get the OP back up and running yet I have you in the middle blocking the threads progress.... It's pointless having to explain to the op and you coming in and blocking what is an easy solution. But again am not going to waste my free time on this it's pointless THERE IS NO MORE TECHNICAL HELP ANYMORE ON THIS FORUM ITS ALL TELLING PEOPLE TO BUY NEW the op has over 2k tied up in cameras with an easy solution which is what the forum is all about. Home monitor is an option. Don't use that option and use IP address local or use RSTP URL. IT IS THAT SIMPLE
  23. For someone who has never seen or touched one I don't see how you can say am wrong . Again y-cam home monitor is a add on it costs $45 a year THAT IS A FACT. BEING PART OF THAT ADD ON op gets home monitor apps one for pad one for tv box both linking to roku tv.and DOES NOT DO LOCAL only wan Now there are other apps for y-cam for use on local (that op needs because cameras and tv are local) and there is also another app that does the same as roku and with no charge . There are other options like putting a y-can comparable NVR on his network But being allowed to give this free advice on the forum is proving hard when someone is saying it can't be done Y- cam have been around for years if you think y-cam moving from roku home monitoring makes them fail to use y-cams own apps and render all there cameras useless then I don't agree But if that's the advice you want us all to agree with then there is no help for the op
