Hikvision TurboHD DVR resets itself to factory default.
tomcctv replied to almelst's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi. Which ddns service did you use ? -
Hi. Cvi will give you the distance you need on some long runs. You will need At least 3 recorders so you can use with cvi only or use hybrid .. Analog-cvi and IP. I would also go with the h265 units to lower the cost of data storage.

Dahua VTO200A not push alarm
tomcctv replied to sklark's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. First thing is remove all the 3 apps you have it connected too. In your video you send a command then switch to another app to control it while connected to the first app. Remove all apps and install the dahua app again from the play store. Then connect to your door entry via your PC and reset it. Then in network settings click on p2p and scan the QR code with your cell and see how it works -
Dahua NVR8POE - how to set up DynDNS to allow remote viewing
tomcctv replied to apples12's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Did a installer put your system in . Because this is a classic example of the owner not using or having the admin password. So you don't have any options to change menu settings. As far as ddns. That is also simple but you need admin rights to your dvr. Settings - network- accounts- then click on p2p then either use the QR code or the serial number on your smart device. If your using qvis are you in the UK.? You might be able to get a free static IP from your ISP -
So how are you recording from the cameras ? NVR of PC

Can a smart tv access dvr
tomcctv replied to captainvideo's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. Your Samsung with use a stream from any smart device. You have to link the smart device to tv first .... iPad iPhone or android -
Hi. Your post is practically word for word of one that was posted a few months ago. Before anyone can say what could be giving you the problem .. First you need to say what make your alarm system is - make of your CCTV. And did the same company install both

Sorry, I should have clarified, I was only looking for answers relevant to the above cameras or those in the same market. I am not interested in a $2,000 investment - just not my need. So sorry if the question insults you, but sarcasm and being a jerk is not the input I was seeking. Save it for someone that never saw it before. Someone else who can't read Read my post again .... If you read it slow you might understand ....if not I will post it again in crayon for you. Here is what a real JURK does ..... Buys or thinks of buying a camera from hootoo. A JURK who installs it with there own hootoo crap software that gives a complete stranger at hootoo can watch your cameras So let's see why you call me a jurk What is so wrong about that advice ?? I would say to you ..... You have been a member of the forum since 2008 and you have still not figured out that IP cameras don't cost $2000 anymore. Now that's the sign of a jurk. Another sign of a jurk is ......... Hikvision 1.3mp is Infact cheaper than hootoo crap. Yes you offended me by calling me a jurk but I'll try and put some other advice into simple terms for you . Buy a hoo too camera and you have to connect to THERE server for you to use there camera ...... That means not only can you watch your camera at home but also complete strangers in China can as well ....... Why would anyone want that to happen unless your a jurk So again some simple advice. Think it's time the forum had a kiddies corner

Can a smart tv access dvr
tomcctv replied to captainvideo's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
house and drill 2 large holes to get the hdmi plug through .customer not too fond of the exposed wire Hi. Your right no customer likes wires. If this install is for a house then I would go the simple way and do HDMI over power It works just the same as Ethernet over power . If you want mouse control as well your looking at $150 -
Can a smart tv access dvr
tomcctv replied to captainvideo's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. The easiest way is to use Apple TV box or Comcast and send it to tv from smart devices or PC laptop -
-Extra LED Red Light Makes it More Realistic -Decrease your security at a fraction of the cost of real cameras -Dummy Security Indoor / Outdoor Camera -Weatherproof: Yes -Sun Shield Included -No Wiring Need -Material: ABS plastic Hi I have never heard of hootoo so I looked them up ..... Ok the above is only a fake camera but talk about over stupid sales. I would only spend money on brand names. And at least a camera that will work with other brands of NVRs

Blurred Moving Images When Stopping Frames At Night Time
tomcctv replied to newsystem's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Hi. You have the cvi system . Have you set your camera for both day and night with the same setting ? You might be expecting to much from your external dome. But I few things you can try. Go into your camera menu and set night mode to a lower frame rate .... 7 or 10 and also do not use the zoom at night and just rely on your dvr to use the zoom when looking back of footage. It depends on camera distance you are picking the cars up at -

Hi. AK357. Is the best guy to talk to about buying hikvision in Canada -
You do need a plugin for windows if you use a web browser... You do NOT need it if you use PSS or Smart PSS. Browser plugin was not needed after 2014 software.

There is no helping people like you Look at my last post I did scan the file and with other detectors and the same it's clear But since your so stuck on dahua has infected your system ..... The only one out of 1000s who download each day. Virus total does not work as a free detector.
-
Tom plz scan file not URL Hi . I did do file before on a PC and got same result as you but on a Mac is came back clear. Even tho Windows shows 4 detections it still says clear . Using other detectors am also getting clear on url and on file
-
So I would use the dahua link as nothing detected and not use a plugin (which is not needed) and in your first post has 26 faults
-
Some of the reliable ones
-
I show clear on everything
-
Yes I have just been out to my car and connected via car Internet and I get same results. But still says clear at the top But reading there forum everyone seems to be getting mcafee and adware finding virus even tho they are not on people's PC
-
Did you do backup before format? Do you have AVware Drweb mcafee. Running on your PC ? Tom, He is right Just for fun I did download the same file from Dahua VirusTotal shows the same ( Question is do we trust VirusTotal? Think your right ak357. Looking at feedback from users ..... Did you scan the link I posted or did you go dahua site Did you get the same results with your test
