Listen if your PC is showing PSS AND SPSS is infected as well then it is your PC Let me point out a fact to you . PSS AND SPSS is downloaded by 100s of people each day ...... If it's infected why is it only you having the problem. You must not be downloading from dahua website. Check this for viruses and see what it lists http://www.dahuasecurity.com/support_download.php?id=139

Ok I'll ask a simple question We're did the plugin come from ..... It will tell you ? And I'll ask again did you install PSS or SPSS to your PC ? Do you have QuickTime on your PC ?
-
You don't need a plugin for Windows. Your not making any sence. New LAN setup ? This still does not stop you PC from being infected. NVR could be infected ? ...... This his happening on your PC ... As you have said you saved to PC. Have you loaded PSS or SPSS to your PC ?
-
If you have not downloaded a plugin then you need to look at your PC it has nothing to do with dahua as none of there systems have a auto update. You need to look at Trojan:Win32/Killfiles. Which is what you are infected with

Onvif is a good thing What has to be checked is if the seller lists onvif as a selling point ...if there not a partner then it will have problems It's a global standardisation for IP based systems. Just like yesterday someone posted a link from a system from eBay . Product was from China 8 way 960h onvif dvr......... Does not exist Onvif can only be relied on from brand name companies

DVR Software - What sucks...what's pretty good?
tomcctv replied to QC444's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hmm... let me explore that. That's the test set we have for Dahua. Both Dahua's DVR and Dahua's CVI cameras. Can't find any control for IR control. But as long as you can't switch off the IR, it'll switch to IR and go b/w. Think it have a mechanical IR filter, need to double check for that. You can explore all you want ..... I have them here . The picture link you have for dahua is 2014 Feb 2016 it has a split screen for schedule also a new on camera select a direct link to camera . If it does not do it ..... I would not say it could -

DVR Software - What sucks...what's pretty good?
tomcctv replied to QC444's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi the qc444 is a dahua and was running 2013-14 software. All the same functions you are used to are still there but as you said will not have any control of your cameras settings . But if your upgrading your recorder then it's the hybrid dahua .... Gives you the option to add cvi or IP later on. Even just changing some main cameras to cvi or IP will give you more camera control. Like IR brightness and focus control -
The mic 500 and 7000 are very good cameras in the uk there are seen in most city's as public space cameras. But on install they must be secure ... As you have noticed they are heavy cameras so the need a good mounting Are you on a pole ?

Floureon Installation - Please Help!
tomcctv replied to maidstonegooner's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. Looking at both dvr spec and camera spec both are 12vdc so a mistake has been made with your camera power supply. A 5 amp DC power supply from maplins will work for you. It also sounds like you are using lead kits ... These have never been good ...analog should only be on coax or cat5 with baluns. Your system is not a bad one as it works with other software but you will not get the benifits from your cameras with poor lead kit -

Hi does not meet any of the ops requirements. First it is not supported by many NVRs..... Then it's well over priced ..... Dahua or hik or aver same price range and all onvif. And look at the picture it has pig tails.

Hi. Depending on which firmware you have ..... On your screen when all cameras are up .. If you click on a little blue icon In the window of the camera with the problem it will give you options for that camera. Un tick auto brightness and at the bottom of that window click auto

Hi QC444. Dvrs are cheap now and most dahua are now hibrid. If you go analog and have the option to go cvi and ip I would buy a new one In the USA ADI Are now the licences distributor for dahua. I would go and look at a demo unit working and check the trade price

I DID READ THE SPEC And it says DC which is right Now read my last post Is your coax boxs giving ac or DC ? Like I said your cameras are DC Am giving you basic advice .... Cvi is done at camera end unlike analog and tvi ..... If you don't use cvi comparable components then your letting your client down with a simple plug and play system
-
A lot of the old power over coax was 24v AC Your cvi will be 12v DC . Not a match. Cvi cameras unlike tvi all data is done at camera end then sent to recorder. You you need a cvi solution. Your link only shows the power over coax but it does not show you that you need a power supply for each camera ...... And the power supply has to be variable 12-15-18-24v DC
