  1. Hes doesnt want replay. He wants an intentional 20 second delay, so the swimmers simply get out of the water and watch the footage. As stated there are simple effective solutions desinged for this purpose. Using security cameras and NVR/DVR's to do this is silly. Yes and I said replay .... His fixes the time he needs or length ..... And it's called replay on dahua or matrix and aver ..... Neat her of which is play back
  2. Hi you will find a few recorders that will allow you to do what you want Dahua has replay as standard on each camera image

    AVER CCTV and Text insertion

Are the cash registers on the network ? You need the registers IP and port number . If not you can take text from the pole display and run it on USB input on recorder and setup a com port.

    bnc to cat5

Hi. No that will not work .... You could use encoder but for the cost it would be better to change your analog bird camera to a IP to match your NVR.

    AVER CCTV and Text insertion

Hi . You have two ways of doing it . Avers rs232 box which converts data from your data pole Or like you have said over network First you need the registers IP and its transaction data port number . You can follow the POS setting on the software ....system-then setting and on the right of screen you will see POS set up ...... Take a look at the setting and you will understand the set up

    OUTDOOR IP CAMERA CONNECTIONS

Whats the obsession with h.265? Storage is cheap. It does expand storage but that is not the point it allows better reliable 4K ...

    OUTDOOR IP CAMERA CONNECTIONS

Hi no not since December Flir is now dahua . Lorex before take over was using hikvision and December both dahua and flir announced there partnership. Both flir and ic realtime sell the pro range all new 4K H 265
  8. PSS for PC ...... As op found direct to dvr was no good And dahua app for his cell. Can you not understand that if op sets up QR code he gets both
  9. PSS is for his local monitoring that's why I suggested It and dahua app for cell. His only free option Why are you making this post so hard It's simple set up with QR code My response was not ment for you ........ It was for op..... But again you take over post and destroyed it
  10. Yes it has a web server ......... Have you read the post right ? Op does not want to keep PC on Op did not set up with QR code so app he is using will keep going off ..... It cloud and he is un registered .... Hence why I sent the no cloud app But again op would be best doing setup with QR code and using the dahua app and scan That is the quick fix and the one that goes with his dvr .... And like he said in his post he wants to keep his dvr So like I said set it up right with QR and it's sorted
  11. In your first response to OP you suggested using PSS. ONLY LATER when I point out that both PSS and blue iris require the pc, you go on about the android app. If all the op needed was a new android app, WHY did YOU not mention it first? If you dont want to argue just go back to selling and installing analog D1 in 2016. Because op talked about I spy and you talked about blue iris ... So I talked about PSS viewtopic.php?f=1&t=49887 I did say first ..... When asked did he set up with QR code
  12. Time you stopped posting nonsense. I undestand that you want it deleted because it evidences your lack of understanding. PSS is NOT an android app. I have just said in last post its for PC .... We're did I say it was for android ........ Show me Just shows all you want to do is fight Read it again I said PSS for PC and dahua for android NOT PSS IS FOR ANDROID NOW LET IT GO BOOGIEMAN
  13. It's simple PSS for PC ....... If he wants better software than has and dahua app for android or explorer app. Which is what I surgested in 3rd post ... No problem with that
  14. Hi. Is it not easier to set up e-map for locations of PTZ
  15. Boogieman ...... AGAIN yes PSS will work And as far as price goes AGAIN ... 60 for software 12 for protection on download then the app then the vat ... Since you have not taken into account it has to be bought from Ireland So yes I can add up I can also add up that for a 4 way standalone IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY Not only it blue iris a waste for him ... So is adding HD space to PC ... Cost of running PC having to set up a ddns or static IP. We can sort this OP out easy but let's drop the blue iris crap as it's not needed
  16. Where are you getting 110. Its 54+7. Pss will not work unless the dvr is dahua...OP never said what model he has. PSS will work it does not have to be dahua. 110 buy time software then hard copy then download protection then app. But without all that don't you think it's over the top for ops problem
  17. Does not matter how you look at it £110 inc tax ($200) it an expensive way to get around a simple problem .... And that's just for electronic load it costs more for hard copy. PSS and dahua apps are free You only have a setup problem. Blue iris and apps are not needed at all
  18. Hi. If you never did the QR code setup then it's not registered with there cloud and PToP. Did you do your own port forwarding to get it onto the Internet. Also try this app is the none cloud one. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.MEye&hl=en_GB
  19. Plus £8 for the remote app. You don't need to spend money .... You just have to set things up right. Did you do the full setup when you first switched your dvr up ??? Also did you setup the QR code ?
  20. Hi. Magic box is still available but only for analog cameras and was expensive at the time I few systems have the same built in these days I know the avermedia does it from the screen by using the matrix icon on the screen 5mins to 60mins and you can also drag that image into another window and have live and delay side by side. The other is dahua same again via icon on screen but replaces the live view . Which can be sorted by splitting live camera view and then having two camera views and delay on one And another way is a pic in pic box .... One is needed for each camera so can get expensive
  21. DS-2CD2942F Hi. This Is the part number your looking for and w is wifi
  22. Hikvision do a IP 2mp with onboard recording you only need your PC . And also watch away from home. It also can do audio recording which you may need .... And that's all £99 ... PM sent
  23. Hi. Since your cameras are not on a steel frame or pole then your link looks pointless
  24. Hi. Your link is to a dahua unit ... Under licence to lorex. Dahua have updated 4K systems and depending where you buy from they offer 5 to 10 years warranty now . Nice house ..... You will get satisfaction out of installing yourself ... But looking at you plan I would start with your 4 cameras but go with an 8 way dvr .... Give yourself room to add. Check your PM.
