Hi. Lee. What apps do you need iPad or android And have you done any port forwarding on your router -
Hi how are you getting the file from your NVR ? Also can you post a picture of you menu screen See you also have a problem when motion is detected .... Try setting NVR to H264

Was left with 3 Norelco Safecam's and need a DVR
tomcctv replied to mainline's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi since we don't know your location if you google or use eBay and look for a TVI dvr recorder You have t state TVI because that is your camera format -
Hi. I think you will find its the NVR .... Does yours have POE ports. If you are using software on your PC to view your unit then that might be set to a less res stream. Like I said you might be better keeping your existing 4 cameras and going for an 8 way NVR and adding the other 4 cameras as you go. What does your footage look like once burnt off from NVR ?
-
There is no doubt. Try it. I would call them first ..... Since it was a clearance item at the time that also changes the return .... Can you take a picture of a camera to see what type .... As far as your images posted first it looks like a low stream ... What I'd footage like when download?

Avermedia SA9516 Rack Argus V card error
tomcctv replied to bantham1's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Hi one booted up you should do it ..... Did you get the CD key -
His unit is from costco, so he can return it and start fresh. The lorex unit is not bad - its rebranded hikvision (before they switched to dahua)...The camera is simply mounted too high and has the wrong lens for the application. Problem with that is if he is not a business card holder then he only has 90 days ..... All Costco offer now is lifetime support If system goes faulty it is protected by warranty for 12 months or length of manufactures warranty or if extended 2 years warranty is bought from Costco . That's from a call to Costco

Hi you can find much cheaper than edigital his stuff is out of date And as far as better than forums take no notice. Since you already have some IP cameras then I don't see the point in wasting that money and look for a NVR which will take your existing and add something like axis to.

Help a noob out with a surveillance setup
tomcctv replied to guidoverduci's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi. That is not a bad system ..... Can also work with dahua app and PSS software.. Just take into account there is no hard drive fitted to that unit..... I would have them fit one before ship if that's the unit you are going for. Thanks! Just ordered. Subject change... I need a baby monitor.. anybody have any suggestions? It doesn't have to necessarily work with this system. I'll probably just run the ethernet into the babies room and then remove the camera when we travel. So maybe something that has wifi capabilities too. Also read that the IR is bad for baby, so worst case I'll have to tape over it as best I can... or is there something out there that works for what I need??? Hi. On the site you linked they also have a small IP camera for $70 that will do for you baby room ...... Also that system will take audio and a mic is around $14 Makes sence to keep it all together so you can also watch baby room on mobile with same app -

tomcctv replied to guidoverduci's topic in General Digital Discussion
It's not Poe because it's coax CVI and if wanted can go up to 3mp if wanted Plus is a dahua system and trust me it's a 1000s time better than trivision. Trivision remote app is poor ..... Only shows 1 cam at a time also has no playback ..... And you can't even mix and match there own cameras if different models -

Hi. Don't take any notice of Iscrx. Hi is selling you junk -
Hi. The drives you have listed are not comparable with the old dahua units you have listed. It's not only dahua it's hikvision zombo Samsung or Swann These are standalone They do work with PC windows based systems.... But even then some problems still need drives to be made smaller by way of partitioning.
