Hi. Blue screen might not be a power problem .... But it takes 6watt can you list or post a picture of your power unit Distance of your problem camera to recorder ? But blue screen sounds to me like data problem .... Are you running everything on highest settings on all 10 cameras ? If so for a test knock down 3 or 4 cameras to 720p and see if you have the same problems

Can we use the existing company network/bandwidth?
tomcctv replied to max_preuss's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. if you want to get the best out of your system I would install a dedicated network for your system But instead of asking will it run ... You have not given any assesment of the existing network how much is on it already also what others might add in the future A dedicated network will not give you problems -

Hi. No way is that a 97mm lens As far as TVL it says 700 but remember China specs give it for black and white So it could be a 520TVL But what are you going to expect for that price. If you want a camera to work well take a look at a CNB 38x

Newbie-Need Suggestions for a 4-8 channel POE System
tomcctv replied to fireman_pete's topic in General Digital Discussion
No I never made a mistake Like I said most 960 units will now also take 720 AHD like hik and dahua or all my stock is useless Everyone is a beginner in your eyes Yes I know what 720 is I know what 960 is I know what analog is I have just sold 15 dahua 12mp ptz cameras I know the trade Yes your right 960h is nothing like MP res but it can still work it's still sold it still can be attached to ANPR IT STILL WORKS OF FACE RECONISTION . BUT TO SAY ITS NO GOOD OR CRAP OR USELESS Is a stupid statement -

Newbie-Need Suggestions for a 4-8 channel POE System
tomcctv replied to fireman_pete's topic in General Digital Discussion
It doesnt work. A 960h DVR as you stated CANNOT handle a 720p camera. It just doesnt work that way. If a 1080p meets the op's budget why in the world would you recommend 960h over 1080p? Listen like the rest am not going to get into a fight with you ALL DAHUA OR HIK 960h also take 720 AHD I have worked with the Swann listed it's crap ..... Slow and choppy It's not just about price ...... It's what is best for his budget But please don't say it does not work that way most 960 AHD do -
Hi. That is the best one out of all you have listed and has a good app

It depends on a persons budget Take the Swann link .....that is a senternal unit swanns own Cheap and a very basic app when it stays running -
