Hi. You need to run Rg59 and not 6 for your camera
-
You may try and confirm it. To me, they would show the same picture. Showing different cameras in different configurations would cost a lot bandwidth. So in general, not allowed by its chip set makers. Why is every post about chip sets ?.....?? And why talk bandwidth . When it has nothing to do with this post . You have a few options in not bought your dvr Look for units that have a programmable spot out Or look for dvrs or cards that have a local cms built in Aver units all have 3 outputs all programmable Geo has two

tomcctv replied to kcollinsuk's topic in System Design
Hi. 3k is a good budget and I don't think you will reach that amount You most expensive will be the ptz ..... The dahua 2mp with IR will do what you need and good distance day and night Your othe 7 cameras can be 2mp dome or bulit also dahua and run Poe from the nvr making your system plug and play ... Except for ptz run that on its own power supply -

So analog has never been able to identify anyone ?

Does it matter about the format. 69 years of analog and still used today it still works and does the job and still sold ..... In some cases analog can do a better job I.e plate capture IP HD and rest .... Yes better image but all still works

Julia & "CCTV Camera Shop" on Aliexpress
tomcctv replied to pipabix's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Not really. If systemQ, for example, had anywhere near the amount of bad reviews that Ali and ebay had, I wouldn't touch them with bargepole. But like you say, each to their own. Not used system q in years ..... Even when spending 1000s with them got let down -
A hybrid would be your best option .... Use your existing cameras and add IP later and run both Aver or dahua units

very confused about voltage drop with higher Amps?
tomcctv replied to naiefelyemeni's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Voltage is not your problem it's your amps Your camera might only be 1amp ..... But you will need 2 to 3 amp for that distance ..... And also take into account IR -
