very confused about voltage drop with higher Amps?
tomcctv replied to naiefelyemeni's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
It might be a 30amp power supply but each outlet is only 1.5amp -
Why did you not change camera while there doing the BNC ? Yes looks like a camera problem

How long can cat5 transmit power without issues?
tomcctv replied to naiefelyemeni's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
no just the camera.. and i gave all them enough amperage but still getting the effects of low power. i need to test out the ends of those long runs to see but i assumed 200ft or less is short runs and should have any issues.. How did you take that image you posted ?? You can clearly see an image of someone .... So if not behind glass then your other problem is ghosting. -

-
Hi you can't run nv6000 for a 32 way You can use multiple 8 cards and expansion cards but that lowers the frame rate
-
Hi. These will be much better and no networking needed One at DVR the other at your BT hub http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/networking/powerline/bt-broadband-extender-500-powerline-kit-twin-pack-21748982-pdt.html

Hi. Good copper rg59 What is your cable distance
-
I cannot post an exact pic now but it surely looks exactly like this. I tried soldering the BNC connectors on it but the outer wire loop does not hold solder. Cable was about 16$ for 90m. That cable is your problem ...... And soldering a BNC on to it will still not work You will need new cable

CCTV with native browser viewing
tomcctv replied to paulcull's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Well, there're some cctv camera security systems costing not that much but with quite a good quality. So I suggest you to buy a new system with a decent price. According to your requirements--8ch, h264, remote view from phone & web browser, I think it's a good option for you: Floureon 8ch 960h cctv dvr + 4 bullet night vision camera 1000TVL waterproof IR-Cut security cameras kit It supports 8 channel simultaneous live viewing via your phone (iPhones and android phones) or your pc. The dvr is H.264 compression and supports hdd recording. Hope it gives your some fresh idea. Op would only be buying what he has now .... Still needs an app I think more info make of dvr is needed ... Some will allow you to go direct with java script . Is it that the app you are using is not good enough ? -

Hi. Not all apps allow for playback
-
If you are having problems that it's an old motherboard then you are not going to get 32 cameras to work with it For 32 you will also need a good graphics card ..(with HDMI) You are going to have to up the RAM. And 32 cameras on 2tb is only going to last a few days even on smart recording
-
Leads are not a problem to get hold of Making a 32 way I would surgest running the software on a Dom and not on the hard drive this will help your power supply. You will also need the 32 software
-
Where are you based

Do you have the cd key for your card. Might be easier to load new software

View CCTV over your internel WiFi Network
tomcctv replied to steviej1974's topic in Security Cameras
Hi yes you are correct if you can view away from your network your ports are right. There are two ways to view .... Either external IP or internal IP. Your external works so you just need to set your internal On your viewing software click add device and call it CCTV at home Then it will ask for IP address ...... This is your local address it will start 192.168.x.x. You will find this in recorder menu under network ... Also use the same port as external and that's all you need to do You will have two logins internal for when at home ...( no cost to your plan) And external for when away from your home -
