tomcctv replied to jay2k6ie's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Hi. That is a £29 camera We're are you based ... Your going to find dahua is going to be cheaper in the UK Can you take a picture at night of area you want ? -
Sunnykim .....are you for real ???....... Please don't try and teach CIF IS OLD not been around for a long time ...... 960h is Tvl over 760 ........and unlike CIF and D1 960 is for wide screen monitors hence 960 dvr with hdmi So what YOU are saying is .... If op has 320 or 360 Tvl cameras it's ok to go 960h dvr ? .........wow
-
No point looking at 960h Buy something local to you ..... Dahua dvr will do what you need What's wrong 960h m8? Op says does not want to change cameras ....... No point 960h dvr if not using 960 cameras But if desired to change cameras then go IP and nvr
-

Why is this type of business starting .......we had to talk a customer out of having a system fitted ..... And customers need to be educated against companies like this . First how can you sell a system were only your company has the footage .......how much are you going to charge for footage needed if something happend How are you going to protect your customer if something goes wrong with either your server or data feed to you ...... -
Need recommendation for "analog to ip" solution and hardware
tomcctv replied to Asaru's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. Sunkwang cameras are good .. I would also say keep them working ....... Your in the UK ... Hybrid PC based avermedia is in your budget -
Hi. The problem is camera sales people will say it's a APR / LPR camera when infact its not. Take a look at bosh Anpr cameras or geovision but your budget is a bit low

The fool is the person that buys cheap £30 junk like dorma ..... Limited to 1mp if use all 4 Anyway fools are happy with crap ..... Can't educate fools that don't understand
-
oh you think they make it .....no they don't Domar CCTV are going to like the way you have added there name to google ....... But like I said your happy that's all that matters .... Soon be with all the rest .
-
We're is your hard drive going to get its cooling from ??? And man it looks crap .....but if your happy with it then we'll done Sounds a bit like spam your post ..... Order from China and you have it in the UK in two days I would still recommend not buying one
-
The reason I chose to go my own way was simply you offered no reasonable explanation as to why one product may not be a good as another and simply dismissed it as 'Junk' If you had actually tried one of these units which you clearly have not, you would be able to offer more of an informed opinion, but to dismiss something you have never used as 'Junk' seems pointless to me, and to be perfectly honest I find you a little rude. Please do not reply to any more of my threads. Yes have worked on that unit ....hence I posted DONT BUY there is no point explaining why it's junk the spec alone and being a no brand is enough for anyone not to buy. And if YOU THINK AM RUDE .......... Buy that unit and then come back and say am right ............ It was advice ..... Which your post was posted for If you can come on ask then deside without listening to anyone in 4 hours of posting ........ Then pointless you posting in first place
-
I already have more hard drives than I know what to do with I'll post back soon If you know what to do ....... First you should of read the advert because that is junk And I would recommend anyone reading this post to read the advert and look for something else ........ But just to show you Dahua NVR ........ 4 x 3mp cameras POE ....£70 Your junk ....... Hard drive NVR switch and not even 1.3mp already over 100
-
No need to post a review .... That one is also junk and will not run your cameras ...... Look at its res ...... Now you have to buy hard drive ...... Then find it does not work .....no support .... No updates Your in the UK ..... Dahua with 4 IP cameras and hard drive is £200
-
Unless you up your budget all you are going to get is crap and waste your money ....... Upto now your budget shows £100 ($80) And your links are from China ...... Do you want a system that works or just waste money The cameras you have is going to be a battle to get to work with anything
-
Hi. No your system is not able to use HD or rj45. You will need to change your dvr for a hybrid if you want to use existing cameras along with HD But your existing system is known as 100oms and this will give you problems
-
Hi. Your currant system is a 100 ohm ...... Plug play .... Changing. Your recorder you only have BNC OPTION. then going hybrid. Are you using audio with you system ?
