Hi. Good old colossus installed 100s Problem is your recorder is 6 to 8 years old ..... Which is not a problem ..... But does not have smartphone viewer or support As far as a camera being down this could be as simple as been switched off from the system ...... Fuse gone in power Quick test is to move BNC connectors on back of unit around and see if it's camera or dvr channel Unplug all cameras and just plug 1 in at a time using only on channel

You have not listed your type of car but Lexus Jaguar Range Rover Toyota Dodge GM BMW All now have tracker .... CALL IT VEHICAL MONITORING ALL ABOVE have apps owners can use to monitor fuel service history or even a bulb out....... Open / lock / remote start Think removing your dash is a bit dramatic....... Just take car to your local dealer.
-
Hi ... Is your car old or new or company car You need to give history of car And also in some cases in the states a car on finance or lease may have tracker Or owner before you had tracker

Hi. What will you be looking at with cameras ??? You seems to be worried about budget and doing cheap So from your post above ......... 96 cameras are not going to be cheap ..... So why install 96 cameras and not have them protect buy the system every day and night. Reduce the amount of cameras and budget more storage. Is you system for theft or vandalism or just to monitor an event -

Hi. Your option is hybrid ........ Why spend money on a dvr and then have to replace again. You would save money by either replacing each camera over time to IP or just add IP to your existing cameras Hybrid can be both ... Or all analog or all IP

Advanced Motion Detection
tomcctv replied to Cybertoddicus's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi first I would go with avigilon And another is avermedia Both will do what you are looking for Example Put 10 laptops on display ..... Next day you notice only 9 Click on software play till you see 10 search view change and it will find who took missing laptop Both avigilon and aver can be altered remotely so does not matter if store is moved around -
