Hi. IVMS 5200 pro will do what you need. Plus that amount of cameras you will get free if from a gen supplier. So no licence costs. But I would look at your design. Do all cameras need to be the same A good managed network can be helped buy using hikvision 2mp and 3mp 3mp would be a waste in areas like hallway or close entry and exit. Also gives you more storage without extra expense

Hi. 2 things stand out from your post MADE IN USA. other is 960h recorder yet only using 700tvl cameras. At least change your most needed cameras to 960h Also cable ..... Did you buy the cheap kits

Hi. Most cameras (I would give Foscam a miss) have alarm detection and set and unset. If you wanted to make it easy and not break the bank you could use a cam with alarm and use door contacter or shock sensor on all doors windows on and around your home even gates.

Sorry signs are bad on domestic homes We have a lot of cameras up around London . Just put your cameras up and don't say anything to houses around you ..... If they think they have a problem let them come talk to you

Hi . Your system is not covered by RIPA it is a short term licence for temp. Does not matter which part of London you are in (or rest of UK) Seeing your post I see you understand about next doors private space so you will have no problem at all

Hi. Watermark or electronic signature will not allow you to open on another dvr But HD in your pc and you see the files should not be a problem Either on a disk that came with your dvr or from makers website you should find video player ..... Use that on your pc to open file names
