Hi. Admin 111111 Or Admin 888888 If you can connect on your local LAN then it's admin and password is blank. If you don't have any luck then master rest has been sent to you PM. TAKES 5 minutes to do a factory reset.

Even being home your system can still do it's job if something happends. Is the reason because you have indoor cameras or in and outside £££ you can switch just internal cameras off
-

Elevator Cameras Interference - Please Help!!!
tomcctv replied to zilla's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Simple cable testing with above. But looking at your image it's more like a power phase . Phase power is connected to on lift is not same as dvr power -
We need more that just saying powered from your dvr cables Power supply used Type of cable Type of data cable Power supply we need to know what size it is and if used only for prz or other cameras on it
-
Disconnect video at night ......... That just means your supplier knows nothing. You do need to post a picture or link to your camera ...... Nothing has been said about power size what cable used what data cable used If camera is powered from dvr end or camera end

Turning a WIRED CCTV camera to WIRELESS?
tomcctv replied to iKnife's topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi 12 cameras wireless is going to cost much more than your full system. It would be cheaper to run cables ..... Also remember drilling holes you would have to do anyway as you still need power local to camera -

Security camera system recommendation for school outdoor
tomcctv replied to starcraft04's topic in Security Cameras
If 10 cameras are needed then 3 to 4 PTZ s. Are not going to cover his needs -
I can guarantee that you will not be happy with these cameras after a few months probably even the first day. You really need to know what you are purchasing for the money. I would get a 4 channel Dahua DVR (~$140USD with a warranty) and 4 cameras with premade cables. You can definitely find some quality analog cameras for around ($60 a piece for outdoor or $45 for indoor). Feel free to PM me if you have questions. CYANIDI ......YOUR WRONG with your guarantee qvis sell dahua and have been one of there longest distributors.

Hi. It's just not worth doing first on the camera you have the video standard to change then you have the power to change ..... And that's just the camera head .......... Camera head gets it's power from the housing so them you have to change that over Going NTSC TO PAL You also need power 60 hz to 50hz

RG-59 Siamese Quality Issues
tomcctv replied to glasssplinter's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
So for CCTV you can't terminate like you can for normal networking? The plan was to combine 4 video signals from each corner and crimp them all down into a plug. Let's say I want to run 2 cameras off 1 cable that sit on top of the house but they are 25ft apart. How would you split the wires for that or would I have to run a second cable for it? Hi run separate ......... Same with doing a network less joins in cable the better ..... In network I would not join at all -

Forger punch down boxes and don't split cat5 you just going to make problems. Cat5 to each camera or 1 cat5 to location of 2 cameras (gives room for power) But don't cut or split cat5
