can I remote view on android without internet connection?
tomcctv replied to ccfred's topic in Computers/Networking
hi. yes you can and with being a local network you don't need to do any settings just go into settings once all connected on your dvr then network and use the ip you see at top of page. you should get good local coverage with that router this is the app for your dvr https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mm.android.direct.gdmssphoneLite&hl=en_GB -
Well sorry I don't understand why you say it can't be done Lots of systems out there. But OPs system does not support POS so for text overlay to his system is to us a analog camera with encoder and that does give him text overlay from all types of text box

What can't be done with IP ??

Hi. your new to installs and the first thing is to look at laws in your state or country for recording kids. it sounds good for the daycare but its just going to be a headache for them. parents will end up controlling the daycare .........calling every 5 minutes ..... why is my child not in view .....why did that child push my child. off site recording by parents will be another problem. CCTV in schools and daycare is a good thing but only when used to protect and not put out to the public for anyone to watch. amount of connections ..... parents x 2 who then give link to grandparents x 2 Aunties & Uncles

tomcctv replied to ChrisS13's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
afafaplant2000. basic stuff first no contact details no address no phone number even domain check comes back with 999)999-9999 Tel (999)999-9999 [fax] I have a feeling people will waste money or just end with a headache they don't need. -
Hi. The bosh is a very good camera .........as you see anywhere in Europe it's used a lot. However ..... It's your distance that is the problem and also for the money you are spending I think you would be looking for a good software for detection. Your budget gets you into avigilon class. Who already have port and costal software. Well worth talking to. Also as for lens type Pentax. http://www.ricoh.com/fa_security/security/pair/
