Thoughts on ICRealtime IP Cameras
tomcctv replied to mgb's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
IC realtime are the main distributor for dahua always have been. buy from the and you get full support. free DDNS free cloud free software updates direct to NVR or camera wich gives you as a installer better warranty to your customer -
Could be looking at doing job the hard way. If it's a hotel it must already have some sort of network in place. Also over the existing coax is fine for ip. But if your looking at putting in cat5. I would talk to hotel owner and suggest full network of hotel instead of all that work for just one camera.

Can't directly connect to Hikvision cameras connected to NVR
tomcctv replied to ctbaker's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
I would go .....camera then switch and NVR to switch . Leave out built in ports all together. Yes you can just temp connect cameras for doing camera adjustment and then reconnect to built in ports ....... But why limit yourself. -

Hi avermedia will also do what you want. IC realtime use dahua which does not have the functions you are looking for

Hi. the easy way is to go Ethernet over power. 1 unit plugs into DVR and 1 unit into router. http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/powerline-and-coax/simplesharing/XAVB1301.aspx#

might all be misprint ok NOW LOOK AT picture of NVR 16 blue led for each camera connected. NOT 32 ..... 16 they never made a 32 in that case which is called the lite. its not the picture that's wrong its not the spec that's wrong ITS THE HEADING we sell all dahua
-
its not a secret read spec. there both 16. its your link. its only for the lite not a 32 and no POE but for that price having a NVR that you can connect most make of ip camera would be a much better buy. why pay that and be restricted Recording Speed 1080p@240fps / 720p at 480fps / D1*960fps Resolution 3 Megapixel(2048x1536) / 2 Megapixel(1920x1080) / 1080p(1920x1080) / 720p(1280x720) / D1(704x576/704x480) Drive Capacity 2 SATA Video Inputs 16CH Total Ethernet Ports 1 Video Outputs VGA / HDMI / BNC Audio Inputs NO Audio Outputs NO Internal DVD Burner Support NO Smart Phone Access/Push Notification Yes Motion Activated Recording Yes PTZ Control Yes Simultaneous Remote Users 20
