Hi. snyvill. For an Airport then its avigilon you need to look at. thewireguys or ak357 might be worth a PM. http://avigilon.com/#/markets/airports

Hi. don't think you understand going SDI you will need to replace all cameras from the start along with SDI recorder. you will find cheaper over time going IP have you thought of hybrid use existing cameras and IP
-
You will have to replace all your system if you go SDI Why is building not suitable for IP
-
Hi. yes its normal for junk. get $42 out and set fire to it and trust me doing that will save you money. a $42 card will let you down either installing it or when you need to get footage off. the least you should be looking at http://viewitem.eim.ebay.gr/Qvis-Zeus-Lite-LX-4-8-16-Channel-H264-CCTV-DVR-Recorder-Unit-500GB-1TB-HDD/121100830226/item which is the dahua ..... lots of reading on here about them.
-
BUT he needs 16 ...... 16 x $200 = thousands plus recorder plus extenders if over 100m ONLY pointing out its not a little more to change to sdi
-
DONT you mean thousands are needed. He wants to keep his existing ANALOG cameras. Hi. matt. I would look at upgrade to a hybrid use your existing cameras and add IP later. avermedia or logic are well prices. or Dahua or IC Realtime if you just want to stay analog

-
Hi. first is not to use www. for local (based on your IP above) enter http://192.168.1.223 and for your external click on this for your external ip www.whatismyip.com/ then enter http:// your external ip :9000 once everything is working you can then setup a DDNS account.

Sounds like a sales pitch. How can a NVR be below par ??? Going out to a recording station with your axis ........what res do you think you get back ? And your paying for it every time NVR is a one of cost
-
2-3 axis cameras I would use something like the aver nano and then also use a analog to make up the 4th screen 1 off cost no licence fee or extra costs .... free DDNS service

tomcctv replied to marley1's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi. only problem with going with new products is reliability. lots have tried going NAS the mobotix way and cant. new apps also have to be made (mobotix took 12 months) will you have a PC or internet at your home. most cameras will do what you need. just look for smart recording to save space. -

avermedia is another option. and will give you 20-30 days with option to dump recordings to network hard drive. -
Hi Jason. yes your system will work with a 3/4g router. or if available BTfon network (if your close to a hotspot area) PC world have a few 3g routers and I would look at Vodafone or T-Mobile for the data
