Video via Cat-5 alongside with 220V Cabletomcctv replied to hazim's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices Fill your Boots if you want to install without code regs. doing a 80m extention lead does not come under code. this is the info people are trying to get from you ......... will power and video be in same conduit or conduit for each
-
Video via Cat-5 alongside with 220V Cabletomcctv replied to hazim's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices your problem is how many cables ...... you could use 12v 5 amp at that distance (for each camera) which means a cable for each. if your going 220v option then it also depends where you are located ....... most will need 220v in conduit
-
Video via Cat-5 alongside with 220V Cabletomcctv replied to hazim's topic in Video Transmission/Control Devices or for 80m use 24v cameras cat5 to each camera with 1 pair for video rest split for power

if you take a look at the ftp site it tells you how. what you have to remember is firmware is not the OS it is just for adding fix patches for bugs. you can only use PAL firmware for PAL or NTSC for NTSC or it will just hang if you look on serial plate you should see PAL or NTSC and some even have SECOM this is its OS for its region. you can get a region flash from there FTP but it take a few hours and even then that has problems . some dahua do and can run in either no firmware needed its tick box on first startup or in menu
-
No it can't be done on there DVRs. It's the board that has the region not the software

Help Law Side Small CCTV now been told to remove by landlordtomcctv replied to aby2013's topic in General Digital Discussion what type of camera are you using ??? sounds like your in a block of flats HA. so all areas outside will be classed as public space and you do need to follow steps to put a camera into public areas. these steps can only be taken by building owner. UK laws are also going to change this year which will make it harder for you to use in a public place. one way to get out of your problem is to use a camera inside your car.
