Hi. your on the old IDE drive. the problem you are going to find is they are twice the price of a Sata drive. if you can still find new. i would look for a 500. and first i would check what the max is for your DVR. but your in the position buy IDE drive or for a little more a new DVR with sata 1tb fitted

axis is done at install. so is permanent. set lens then software to turn image.... but cant change once set. if footage is to be permanent then axis is fine. ak357. sorry thought the op was asking for a camera to do both.

hi. axis or avigilon will not do what you want. field of view / corridor. will not alter the image that stays the same.

i know you will defend your ptz. BUT your night video is not a true example of auto tracking. it lost you 3 times in a short video............... it is only because you have your laptop with you that you could reactivate the auto tracker you had to walk back into its neutral point. the part when your at your door...... you knock then start to walk away your camera returns to neutral. say if that was a intruder knocking to see if anyone is in. steps back to look at windows your auto tracker would do the same return to neutral. leaving the intruder to do what ever he need to get in your front door............. you will only pick him back up on his way to the road. without your laptop you video would have only lasted seconds. auto tracking has been around for 8 years or so and it never works.... alarm inputs do work they make the PTZ do its job and no one needs to be in field of view (which is the main problem with auto tracking subject NEEDS to be in field or view)

mobotics don't work in a club environment for a club if you mean music club .....low lights /and flashing lights then look at hybrid gives you more options for dark places and don't use anything with IR lighting.

its a forum. I take it business is slow or your new company has not taken off as expected. ....... giving advice on the forum. is world wide 80% of the posts are 3.5 to 6000 miles away from you so has no impact on your company. it does not matter if a DIYer or a PRO ..... the industry changes quick at the moment its not like 20 years ago. even a PRO needs to know about new products and instead of going out and buying everything new just to try is not a option. a forum brings all that info for free and in most cases better than a manufactures website as you get REAL sample shots of camera footage or links to new software. this will always be a problem if you sell budget systems. with the power of google customers WILL always find the true price of budget systems. does not matter how much you put on to for tech support. customers always look for the budget price. a company can not make a long time business from budget systems there is no margin in it to make a company grow. there ok as a fill in to keep engineers in a job. but its big contract systems and full PRO systems that make money. it helped you just over 18 months ago. you was a DIYer looking for help. it does look easy to start your own company but you need alot more than 18 months to understand the industry.

try and find footage of a auto track PTZ working............ you cant

Auto tracking never works plus. you have to read the warranty you will be hard pushed to find any auto track that will go 12 months warranty. if you buy a good PTZ with multi alarm inputs and use sensors like GJD. will give you the same result of auto tracking. standard PTZ will have 1-2 even 3 years warranty.

for the distance you talk about a good cat5 is your cheapest option. also if you have not used fiber before.

this is another problem with built in IR..... like any lighting it has a life span. cameras with IR come most with 1 year warranty...... cameras without IR can have 2-3 even 5 years.

hi yes thats right. if you go into settings go to cameras then click network cameras you will see a dropdown list of ip MP you can use. if you havent run a patch in the last few months then you will need to. over 300 ip are now available for aver

Hi FPS on your card is only for analog cameras. using MP is set via camera.

AGREED! also another thing to remember cctv is for information collection. dont always think you need a face shot. if you know what to look for in the footage every bit of info can help. your guy throws 5 empty packets of cigarettes into the frame. he has no gloves on ..... 1 empty packet means nothing but 5 with his fingerprints on means he put them there. but that also depends on how helpful your police are. but you can also tweek your footage and put pictures up in your shop. or even a QR code of the footage so your customers can see.

so 30 years of analog has never worked...... you can get face rec from analog even more reason to go hybrid...... 2k for pc....pay for licence........ hybrid all done.
