  2. Hi. quintain nice part of the country got a few installs your way. i would say dont buy direct from china or ebay. as you are a farm you do need a system that works and has good warranty and back-up. what is your budget. there is a good supplier in your area.

    Looking for a 16Ch D1

8 years in the industry and you cant spot crap...................... op is looking for D1 not old CIF unit ONLY. Nothing to do with his network ....... nothing at all.
  4. 24 gauge is standard in the industry if you order 22 gauge you will pay a premium price for a larger cable thats not needed
  5. hi cat5 is always at its best as a full lenth. your only talking 180ft video pair is fine. but for power use green pair for - and brown pair for + this will give etter amps to your camera. and i would also look at putting this camera on its own power supply also are these true video baluns. lots of crap on ebay listed as baluns but are not.
  6. Hi. if you are doing a new install i would take the extra time to do the cable work as these lead kits do not last and do not give you the best signal. i would look at buying a reel of cat5 this will give you more options now and in the future.
  7. ok. you need to have the Levi software re-installed to your PC. but you cant down load it from anywere. you might be lucky and find someone in your area you could take or send your unit too. where are you based.
  8. hi. thought you was looking for remote client........ now i understand your problem..... so you dont have your original system. PC guy has installed everything into a new PC ??? how many channel is your unit ??
  9. Hi. Does your unit say Levi mk 2 in the too left if the screen ? The viewing software is only a small file so no problem sending it to you via email.
  10. hi either from the listed encoder or direct from dvr. the easiest is the link i have sent to your PM

    Connecting CCTV to house.

So this is the inconvenient place of a CCTV camera. May be next time you will use an ip camera. Because an ip camera is more convenient than a CCTV camera and is cheaper too. From asking type if connection you deside best off going IP. .. Just got to love it

    Connecting CCTV to house.

wireless to your TV ??? just buy a modulator and put it back into place. you will then see camera on all TVs. looking at your picture you have coax distribution around your house. wirelessly. with your links is a waste of money (cheap and low range)

    Connecting CCTV to house.

Hi. yes its just a standard camera. with having a F connector it may have only been used for live viewing. just connected to a modulator then into your TV distribution (which is in your picture) but the last owner may have taken the modulator. are you looking to record with this camera ??
  15. anyone involved with clones are bad for the industry and the innocent people that spend hard earned money
  16. somethings not righ. either you have a mistaken dahua 1.3mp (which still should give you a better image) or your lens is out
  17. Hi. yes it does support dahua cameras. and yes the nanos only support 4 ip cameras but its not as limited as the dahua
  18. Hi. PeteCress sorry i cant tell you the camera type. but the software used is easy and will work with your software. free download link sent via PM.
  19. hi. found 3 .... 2 clear and 1 gold. i will take pics tomorrow with sizes for you to check. if they are the same which they should be as that ptz is still made today. i will let you have the 2 clear for nothing.

    need 16 cameras

do you think so. ???? your link // hong kong / cheap fixed lens / not a day night / lucky if you have warranty (without the high cost of YOU shipping back) and the spec listed has nothing to do with camera. so you will find out $95 is a waste of money. and have to buy another say $95 = $190. or you could buy local and have a demo before you buy and also have a place to return if warranty needed
  21. can you post some footage of this camera
  22. Sunkwang are one of the longest camera manufactures around I will look on Monday to see which spares we have left ... Should have some domes as we replaced some for gold colour
  23. hi. if your under cable runs are not extream then yes 4 way baluns 1 cat5 will run 4 cameras. if you dont have network tools then look for direct connection or both.

32 IP Cameras in one premise

Yes always install a dedicated network. BUT THAT IS THE LEAST OF YOUR PROBLEMS lucky someone knows dahua products. you are using a network recorder but your going to use SDI cameras as well as IP ???? not with that recorder also 32 cameras (2mp) with 2 recorders is only going to give you D1 recordings. so your customer is paying for 2mp cameras but your just giving them the next stage up from analog if your going to sell megapixel at least sell products that get you there. infact if you do some work around the forum and look at other IP recording methods you will find better and in your case cheaper. in your setup the recorder is a very weak point.
