hi. i would look for a D1 dvr. there is no mention of your link being D1 ---30fps i would say its a CIF unit also for that money why does it not have links to iphone or android apps. (what apps does it use)

another thing about auto-track is its not supposed to be used as a full feature of the camera you will be lucky if you get 3 months out of your camera before it gives up. not only the work the plastic gears are going through but also its always running at max power draw. auto is only good if attached to alarm input either via sensor or from another camera (set as alarm) and it does its job when needed

hi. cam you post a picture of your dvr. it could be a avtech - sentinal - q-see or a CNM.

Will this power supply work for this enclosure?
tomcctv replied to cgcmgr's topic in Security Cameras
i think the guy who made the PDF file was on something. yes you are right everything points to 24v untill you look at parts list part 5 24v fan or 5A 12v models only. that is the only time in the PDF that tells there are two types. untill you try to find on the manual about 24v or 12v and its in small lettering on the first page. at bottom. http://www.videolarm.com/literature/Videolarm/Instructions/81-IN5329.pdf Before attempting to connect or operate this product, please read these instructions completely. To be used with the 81-IN5481 Instruction Manual. which is 24v then look over to the right and you see this. 81-IN5329 01-13-2012 which is the Right manual for the 12v dome http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/123securityproducts/81-IN5329.pdf its there mistake with doing a stupid manual ....24v and 12v both have the same manufacture part number. take a look at your fan (part number 5 for 24v or 5A for 12v system) -
Inexpensive - Real Time 4CH D1 Resolution 30FPS DVR
tomcctv replied to nDAlk90's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
hi. this is not always the case. CCTV has been around for years well before D1 it was CIF and licence plates and face were geting picked up then. we still see big names still making CIF only DM-samsung- bosh for licence plate applications. there is lt more to the Resolution its also how good the codex is (how much data in each pixel) you can have a DVR with D1 but if it has a crap codex its crap. Re: Inexpensive - Real Time 4CH D1 Resolution 30FPS DVR the ebay listing. it does not take 5 minutes to find out it is CRAP Google is good at saving money if homework is done. there is a phone number on the listing. GOOGLE it you will find the USA seller ..... then look for the ebay listing in his products ..... ill save you some time ITs NOT listed. this tells you it has problems and he needs to sell off quick (bad import choice) if it was good it would be on his site ............. but it looks like they dont want anything to do with them so onto ebay they go and just add the simple words to his listing ....... All the DVR system, cameras, cables are non-refundable which also means no support -

Hi. viewing over wan or mobile network will have nothing to do with camera choice. (camera to dvr yes) but a system with a media stream is always better than a java stream which is a refresh image. how many cameras ???

Axis Q6034E vs Mobotix M12D
tomcctv replied to randee01's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
hi. axis is full PTZ so cant compair them both even with the mobotix PT unit the axis will proform alot better. a good camera for web casting and remote monitoring applications is the sony SNC-RZ25N and is cheaper than the others. live links to play with for both the M12 (not on PT head) and the sony (full ptz) sent via PM. as you will see the sony is outstanding over the network live -

DVR Display is Black & White on a Plasma TV
tomcctv replied to pourem1's topic in Digital Video Recorders
then like soundy says something is odd. so i would start to look at the simple things. the lead you have is it right i.e video to centre pin ground to outer ...... is ground connected. you may just have a faulty lead. and also have you set colour settings on tv. do you have another tv or lead to test on. or just a portable DVD player with video in just to test. -

Techwell 6802i ( Sky 6802i) Camera Mask Problem
tomcctv replied to MarcHopgood's topic in Computers/Networking
hi what might be seen as masking might just be a region problem. your software with reloading might have gone back to factory settings so you may have to tell your card which region you are. PAL or NTSC -
hi try setting your stream settings lower. try cif. if you have all set high then you will have problems with internet connection.

Wait until you hear the price... two cameras - 1 microphone - 1 speaker - LED lights - PIR sensor built in recording all in one is not going too look as ugly as if you mounted everything seperate. and as far as price 8 x foscams = mobotix

Perfect camera for recording my mothers car at night.
tomcctv replied to Rafal123's topic in Security Cameras
yes it will do. i would also surgest not using ir for your setup (your camera is too high) if you need to identify person's face. a good camera with a cheap dvr is not a good match. you need to be looking at a 50mm lens low light camera. or record direct to your pc and use 3mp ip camera. -
