    new home system?

hi take a look at the guys feed back...... plus you will see he has not yet sold any DVRs. and there is a hard drive to also pay for. and the scam from ebay is if you fit it then you have no warranty. by local if you can. and stick to a name brand.

    rf modulator

using RF you have to check that the channel you pick is clear .... un-plug your modulator then go to each TV and see if that channel is clear.... nothing at all on that channel have you also used a booster.

    Siemens CCDA1435 e CKA4820

hi. the cheapest way is to replace your CKA4820 controller.
  4. it just depends on how its installed and the quality of the equipment used. you can get DVRs/NVRs that will do just the same and on a farm you will get some bad alarms. if you are looking at IP then no need for a DVR but you are looking at some good money to build a good wireless network . how many cameras are you looking at what is the size of your area to cover and the big one. what is your budget.
  5. I dont see anything on Tamron's site except lenses? is this something new? yes there new ...... there a bit late in joining the camera game but what they have makes up for it.

    Timestamp on security displays

i know its something you dont want to hear but there was TWO systems. it says that in the case files. here is the video of each system. look at bottom corner. the text shows they are not from the same DVR.
  13. it has nothing to do with like or dislike. its to do with either DIYer or PRO getting the best for there money. one thing every pro will tell you is a camera with built in IR is less effective than 1 without. you have to remember gadspot is only a distributor 1 in most countries they buy 1000s of unbranded for $30 put there name on and sell for $90 but you still only have a $30 camera for around the same price you can go TDN no ir no flood just street lighting. and get 2 years warranty
  14. its a true D/N with no IR. an image you will never get with a gadspot.

thats the whole point of covert. no point in covert and then display it on a public monitor. lots of hotels use covert cctv. covet does good things in hotels 1 watches and looks after the staff. people dont understand what the staff have to put up with in a hotel. do you know how many room cleaners are attacked each day. and included in that are the sick guys that open the door to the cleaner with no cloths on. we have done hotel work for most of our years and have see some odd stuff going on.
  16. hi. just had a look at the manual (that takes some learning by its self) not all ip cameras support alarms you will need to talk with tech as they dont give a support list. but the software does support a I/O box. so if your cameras are not supported then that is another option. but you will need either a n/c or n/o feed from the door which can be done with a simple door contact.
  17. Hi elvis. your problem may just be the region. PAL or NTSC. you should see a setting in your setup to change from 1 to another.

    Windows 7 & NV5000

why did it not work ??? what was missing ?? if you are getting this message then you are loading the software that you got with the card (its to old)
  19. do you have a i/o box or alarm inputs (wired) on the pc to give the command

sorry. $500 for dvr 8 cameras cat5 LABOUR H/drive sorry but that does = junk ..... no need to go 380tvl or cif
  22. 700TVL 960H Sony Effio from KT&C my point exactly rory thank you.
  23. any camera that states 750tvl is usless when used with white light i.e flood your lucky if you get 580/600tvl and then you have the other problem. as seen by 3 new posts just last week 700tvl at night the ops are seeing what they call snow big white dots from the camera to the point you cant see anything and plays hell with alarms set. best with low tvl with IR 520-560 is say the limit
  24. it sounds like you are only logged in with a user password and not the admin. (also the reason why you cant remote log)

sorry by your questions i thought you was. but your questions have been answered. look at the reports two cctv systems in hotel 1 covert staff 1 for public viewing. now the box you posted is a 4x4 with a wired covert. and i dont think that any law enforcement would have used any of the 4 cameras used without having the electronic signature checked first
