hi. all the nanos are in total 10mp 4/8/16 but its best to run under the max all nano eh are 5mp on channel 1 ....... 2.3 is the max for cannel 2-3-4. i.e channel 1, 5mp so 2-3-4 are 1.3 in total channel 1, 3mp so channel 2 can be 2.3 and 3-4 are 1.3

use the software...... it is that simple. you have remote and a cms from that maker.

you need to change supplier if he is charging you 760 for a 200 camera. also xgb-20 and the xgb-21 are the same camera so why is he charging you an extra $60 the huviron is around the 190.

it depends on which unit you are using nano is ONLY upto 5mp on channel 1 the rest upto 1.3. sa and touch are max of 42mp in total

you installed 1 last week ..... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28967 these cameras are new to the market. so if you can get them secondhand at £200 less. then i should think they are junk if someone has changed them already. but for £70 it may be worth it ...... better than paying £278.60 / $434.62

on the MB fan. take it off and when you turn it over you might see a little crack in the spline case. ssen this a few times with Asus. it will start up but over a hour or so you will see it slow down or even stop and start. as it gets warm the crack opens up a little and the fan does not spin on the spline (at the speed it should) are you just using these as analog or as hybrids.

it all depends who you call. it has nothing to do with a scam. or anything to do with high price. out of the two that is what i would use for your licence plates

software is not a problem http://www.ussscctv.com/downloadsguidesandsupport.aspx your problem is doing the upgrade. via remote. avtech is always best from thub drive. if they are all over the globe have someone load the updates there ..... do it over the net and it fails then your dvrs are off and you cant get them back on again.

i did state motion detect. but with a normal camera with built in IR there is not much you can do anyway (another reason why you dont use built-in ir)

1 fan is not enough you also have good heat from graphics card you need at least 3 and 1 of which needs to pull in air.

fan failure or not cooling your drives. how many drives in each and how many cameras ??

wow its getting very technical. you could always remove the subatomic hadron particle let the water dissolve the neutron frame work and block it with a nuclear filter. but i have found it much easier if you just use a motion light with pir sensor. if its bright enough it will switch your ir off. remember you are talking about fog. i dont see the point in modifying a camera just to deal with a problem that only happends with fog

i dont think is domination be it dahua or any other company or if its about a dvr or a camera. yes you see alot of talk about dahua and also alot of talk on here about CNB. it just that the equipment works. no name brands dont last dont work and are given specs that people dont understand. and most of the time untrue. dahua have been in the industry a long time and make for other big brand names 75% of hikvision is dahua. there new range of cards are dahua. and its been like that for 10 years or more. other makes like avtech/CMN/ q-see / swann are all below what i would call a budget system most of which are rebranded TVT. (except) avtech. cameras. are the big problem. many times you see this stuff from ebay images from the cameras makes grass look dead and brown. blue cars look gray ..... there is no need to buy cameras that cant give true colours.

hybrid systems still use them so will still be around for a long time

then its not a kvm you need. your dvr comes with remote viewer (via disk) you can use that.

listen its much easier to answer the questions. it gives people a fighting chance to help you. forget about your KVM for now. are you looking at controlling your mouse local (as in your home) or away from your home (over the internet)

what make is your dvr........ are you talking about using your mouse and monitor away from your dvr but at the same location. or are you looking to move the mouse over the internet at another location ???

with that sort of profit can and will leed to problems. for you to make the kit for $400 it is going to be very basic low quality. your prifit can go quick. 1, your customer is not happy so returns. you then have a secondhand unit which costs you $400 you need good quality equipment. you dont want returns and you dont want equipment to fail befor the warranty is out. selling is hard a lot of money to buy in the first stock. unless you can buy from the likes of CNB direct where you get 5 years warrany (and you only need to pass 2 years of that to your customer) then it is going to be hard. your a Firefighter use your skills along side cctv i will pm you a idea (you could be selling by monday) see what you think.

without seeing the layout. hard to say. but you always spend time planning your cable runs. does the house have a basement ??? cables down the outside need so sort of protection ..... we have used dummy drain pipes before now. but i would also look at using cat5 you will only need 1 for 4 cameras or 2 for 8 cameras and use 4 or 8 way baluns in the roof space.

the Gadspot will not do what you need not at 60ft it has a 6 - 9mm lens the Gadspot spec reads >>>> • Capture images from vehicles traveling at speeds up to 30 mph (50 kph) 90% of cameras can capture images of a car at that speed ..... it says nothing about licence plates. New CNB XGB-20CS/XGB-21CS or the Qvis p400 or huviron p700 are camera that will have no problem.

do you already have a dvr or are you looking for both ??? gjd sensors and also optex / redwall are reliable

that one is 30fps but as you said you cant afford it. . they are dahua dvr. like i said this is the 7fps unit. or you could ask Sean for his price of the 30fps unit
