Help with my moms security cameras please!!

how? convert analog signal to digital before it enters the coax and turn back after the coax. you can run two or more cameras plus power and data down 1 coax cable -

hi jpmad4it it needs to be AV. but yes sorry you will need a converter. or if you have an old scart lead you can cut the yellow lead and just hold the outer stands to the outside of your BNC and hold the inner to the centre pin on your BNC just to see if you get a image on the AV on your tv -

hi. well your best option is to put everything in the shed cameras and recorder ..... then you have no problem with signal. then from the recorder i would use a 1 channel amp and connect to your existing coax back to your TV. i would not spend anymore money on wireless equipment. i have sent you a link for a £29 cctv amp. you will need this as your little recorder will not send video from your shed to home via coax as the recorder has no booster. -

hi. no just looked at manual ...... you must have bought 2 units to have 2 cameras ???? thats over $500. marked or not i would take them back as not suitable. there is no way of connecting the cameras other than wireless and to there system. -
No offense, you are looking at a different site. I took it all the way to Paypal, did everything but pay. total $322, I can buy 1 unit. no offense taken. you are buying a dahua 16 dvr for the first time. me this year over 280 you cant buy a 16 with shipping and duty for $300 ........ but yes keep going with your paypal TILL is comes to full payment and bottom left you will see US$324.85~325.00 Min. Order: 1000 Pieces i did find a site at $430 with min of 20. anyway i am only trying to help you not waste money as a dahua 16 way dvr is not $300 not even from dahua (which should make YOUR alarm bells ring)
-
yes your right i have just done it. $322 shipped. THEN bottom RIGHT min order 50 units. IseeU2 the prices you are posting are too low. other things to look out for no contact details / gmail addresses and the hidden costs of shipping or the quantity you need to buy
-
hi just spotted a online site (think its the one you are looking at) postage is another $195 and HD are also extra. so real price for 16 way is $500 to $600

i would if you can return the swann system ..... 3hrs recording is pointless and going 32gb card and buying the swann you are in the range of a good wired budget two camera and dvr. and get approx 25-30 days. you can run two cameras down the one coax you already have in place (best having dvr in your home) for monitoring or networking -
hi soundy thats just a feature that it does in the event of a collision. while also recording 24/7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKSs7FH31lU
-
i think your getting a bit mixed up (remember dedicated network)
-
hi take a look at the T-EYE it has been around for some years and is a very good reliable little unit. 2 cameras/google maps/speed
-
i would get your engineers to look at cam 3 in your demo a camera acting like that will waste HD space if set to motion record
-
are you also using a geo pos box ???? this is not needed if going TCP..... you are using geo pos dongle ??? and how many is it for
-
hi yes but to keep things simple dont set display text on monitor and only setup 1 register first
-
i do you mean over the network ??? yes but for testing crossover is better. if that is not a option then yes over the network but you will have to find what port number is assigned to each register and insert that into the geo pos settings
-
hi from net work on register use a crossover cable to your dvr ... then do a text search and see if you get anything even if it is text all messed up.
-
hi. how have you connected your box up ???? printer or display or com port ?? before you can do anything your geo has to be version 8.0.4.0 or above.
-
no rory. but you are and looks like you have been missing the point for years. in using IR cameras. we are talking about ir built into cameras. we would never use ir cameras on say state homes ???? like alot of people are finding out. intruder at night only needs to set his mobile to picture mode point at house. all ir cameras are now detected also the direction there are covering and giving blind spots away. buy hey rory if you agree that IR is as good as covert (which is the post i replied to) then you have learned something) its not
-
this is what people think .... were infact it is the complete opposite. ir helps the intruder
-
hi. its the other way round cameras are better without ir. what range do your cameras need to see. do you have power at each location ???
