Intellinet IP Camera
tomcctv replied to ssmith10pn's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi ssmith10pn. if your friend is doing this for a customer and is selling it as a ip system then he has big problems. these cameras are infact 420tvl with a webcam boad added for connection. looking for a nvr for 30 cameras and only ending up with 640x480 res makes no sence. your friend has 2 options replace the cameras (and on a budget dont go any less than 1.3mp) or the other option is remove the network board from every camera he has and wire as analog and buy a 32 way dvr -
hi sunnyny. are you looking for the Digiop or a similar system. we use a company in Maryland MD

tomcctv replied to rory's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
am not a big avigilon user only use them in high security applications .... and have been on 3 courses. just reading what gvn has posted i dont even think he has used 1 at all or if he has he has made 1 of 3 mistakes you can make with avigilon cameras. 1 trying to do over the limits of the camera 2, cheap crap lens (installer trying to make money) 3, install problem finger on lens or sensor. -

post images of problems you are having with the setup. which Avigilon range do you use ??? -
hi it would be nice if you listed the specific unit.

you are not recording the sequence ..... this is just a preferance on what you want to see on your monitors

it may sound simple. the middleman is not there to rip you off as you will find when you buy from china with intent to sell on. 1st product cost 2nd shipping 3rd insurance 4th inport tax are just a few things to look at and then you will still not make any money. you will have a return problem say you buy 10 and 8 are found to have a software problem. your customers are not going to wait 4-5 weeks for a replacment so you have to buy 20. buying cheap ends up costing you. say the recorders are $40 then you have shipping/ insurance / tax it will end up costing you $70 and you will have to pay for returns then you have to pay to have them back. here is a warning two or your links are google mail. never deal with a company who does not have a email address. middleman will save you money if you are not spending thousands of $$$$. and buying from your own country helps the economy

hi. you can go to settings on the system and creat another remote account with new user and password
-
birdman is right. more pairs is better for the amps. UTP for that distance. also you have a duel voltage camera you do need to use the 24v side
-
which dvr and ptz do you have. also on the china units some words mean other things Flip may also mean switch. i.e switch between two cameras
-
q-see seem to have droped there range of dahua and gone TVT and avtech
-
hi Foxhill your post is a bit confusing. DMMul is remote viewing to which you are looking for the passwords. but in this post .... now this has nothing to do with DMMul (your at your system) you just need IE to log in. are you looking for the passwords to get into your DVR or to view from another location via DMMul
-
hi. it depends on what your needs are. these are trail cams ideal for animals but are not that good for security. can hide them well but as soon as the IR is activated camera is spotted
-
have you just bought this secondhand ???? user name and password would be used every day for the DMMultiview and you should know who the maker is .......... its in big letters in top right of screen and log on page

just to point out 1 thing when he first posted the video it did run and show full but since the link has been posted youtube removed it with the copyright warning .
-
hi the link posted has a bad http so takes you to nothing ( fanhttp://) it was just a mistake. no virus detection. the youtube link like it says across the video removed via copyright. (it was working when murray first posted it) then replace via a snap shot. (now youtube is full of that video now) murray is a legit guy and is a good part of the forum (nice guy)
-
hi. like with most good PTZ you need a good budget camera around $490 remote ir $ 14 but you just need a mini ptz and a remote ir controller.
-
hi murry. yes i seen that clip last night. i wonder if samsung will replace under warrenty. or samsung could use the clip as a sales pich if it still worked after that. never got fired http://www.thestar.com/business/article/1105633--this-fedex-delivery-guy-wasn-t-so-what-does-it-take-to-get-fired?bn=1

hi. from your list everfocus is best but still has its limits in remote viewing. you also have the 8 aver nano hybrid ip and analog (which is cheaper) and the qvis dahua 8 way if you just want to stay analog

Does Infrared light work from inside a Fixed Dome?
tomcctv replied to Fiona's topic in Security Cameras
Sorry but most people live in the real world. More like, most people just buy the marketing hype and take what the salesdroid hands them, rather than planning a proper *system*. domestic market is the built in IR. in the uk you would never see an IR camera in public space cameras or commercial installs -
hi gashog. you should have no problem testing your cameras on your tv if it have AV inputs such as a RCA or scart. you will need either or 1 of these RCA to BNC
